If it is, that was Drew right now.
He was too quick to push things into motion. In his head, we needed to be married before the baby was born. To me? I didn't care either way. I told him he was too old-fashioned, but I think maybe his family was the one that was old-fashioned more so than him, but he wanted to make sure this happened before I was visibly pregnant.
Having never met them in person, video chatting with them to tell them the new was going to be interesting. Doing my best, I put on makeup and dressed semi-formal to make a good impression. Drew had asked me to meet them before, but again, a video call wasn't quite the same. I didn't get to walk around his childhood home or give his father a hug… Or visit his mother's gravesite. Anything that was really attaching me to his family.
