Kavielle POV
My face probably spoke a million words. Just now, I had finally accepted the fact that I was going to be a mother. Now, he wants to hit the gas and get married? For some reason, when I looked in his eyes, I felt this need. A desire to hold on to him and never let go. My heart throbbed, unable to breathe, I whispered, "Are you serious?"
He nodded, his face burning red. "I love you Kavielle. I've loved you since the first time you smiled. Nothing would make me happier than to be your husband."
The room started to spin a bit, my anxiety trying to drive me into the ground. Every possible scenario ran through my mind; none of it was good. Was I ready for all of this? He watched me for a moment still on his knees. His lips trembled, seeming to be barely holding himself together. He didn't even have a ring! What possessed him to do this now?
