One step closer
Her kitchen was pretty bare, but I manage to find some things, putting together a sandwich for her. I can't say I've ever much cared for food, but I at least knew what people eat. Most vampyre wouldn't have a clue. As I crossed through the living room, I peeked into her friend's room, who was laid out in her bed, sleeping soundly.
I guess in my haste to calm her; I put a little too much oomph into my spell. We need to figure out what to do next before I bothered rousing her.
Where did this go? Would she and I be tangled in this web of death?
The smell wafted from the other room. Lavender, eucalyptus… Rose maybe? I followed it in to the bathroom. She leaned over the tub, dropping in bits of oils.
I grabbed her hand. "Just a little." The light smell, probably not even detectible by her, was magnificent. I tapped in just a few more, sitting the plate down on the vanity. "Get in. I'll wash you while you eat."
