Sometime later:
POV Vesuvius:
A blazing hot sphere of solar corona condensed a sphere burned within the dragon's divine kingdom. The heat of it bathed Vesuvius in its comfort as he prepared to finally evolve his secondary soul.
'Where did she go?' Vesuvius searched his entire divine kingdom, but the small dragon was gone. A slight concern arose within him, even suppressing his annoyance at her just leaving.
He simply felt like, at any moment, some madman with a giant sword would pop from behind a corner to decapitate and skin the young dragon.
'No, she is still a dragon... maybe a young one but still a dragon.' It was simply the right thing to do and let her go. It wasn't a style of dragons to care about their young too much, often leaving them in the wilderness long before adulthood.
He could see some merits into it, but he personally felt like it was the wrong approach, 'No wonder our population was always so small with so many dying young.'
