The man wearing a heavy plate armour bounced up and down as he sat on top of a large white horse covered in layers of chain armour and fabric. His long blue cloak waved in the wind as he galloped through the old unmaintained muddy road, with dirty brown water splashing under his horse's hooves.
Wooden fences lined the road, marking pastures for the animals, but they were almost empty, with only a few cows and sheep to be seen, even though the land was green and verdant enough to support a large number of animals.
'What happened here? Maybe some monster attack?'
He kept galloping through the muddy road, soon noticing a farmer in a straw hat and common but clean cloths moving a large carriage loaded up to its brim with wheat.
He pulled the harnesses of his white horse, slowing down to the speed of the carriage.
"Hey, there, a good man. Why are so few animals here? Did some monster kill them?"
