Christian saw the troubled expression on Édouard's face. "What happened?" He queried.
"Father, I would like to know everything from the past before beginning the investigation," Édouard stated.
"Pardon me, Your Grace, but His Majesty has an important evening meeting with Sir William," Igor intervened in the middle of their conversation.
"Igor is right. Tomorrow morning after the council session we will continue the conversation on this," Christian asserted.
"Alright, Father. Before leaving, I would like to one last question. Why did Father suddenly decide to look into this? I remember Father wanted me to be away from this matter," Édouard stated.
"Because Damien said he heard I was the one who gave out the order to burn that place into ashes," Christian answered.
Édouard hummed and rose to his feet to leave. He bowed to him and left the chamber.
