"Will Rainard and Lieutenant Laurence not get tired?" Charlotte curiously asked as she looked out of the window of the carriage.
"They are trained for this," Édouard replied.
Charlotte turned her head to look at him. "What about you?" She asked. "How much did you train yourself to be like them?"
"A lot," Édouard replied. "I ended up training hard. It wasn't because I chose it. It happened because I wanted to run away from the palace as I have told you before," he briefed her.
"I always forget," Charlotte said.
"Aren't you sleepy?" Édouard inquired.
She shook her head and told him she would look outside.
"You'll get cold. Night temperature is usually low," Édouard said. The road was bumpy so the carriage was moving at a slower speed. Édouard put his arm around Charlotte's shoulder and pulled her closer.
"Do that later. For now, stay close to me, if you don't want to get hurt," Édouard asserted.
