Rainard and John left the bedchamber when Édouard asked them to. However, Édouard told John to examine Andrew as he was injured.
"Let me dress your wounds. Remove your shirt," Damien said and dragged the chair so that he could be in front of Édouard.
"When will she wake up? It has been three days," Édouard asserted while panicking internally.
"It will take time. Probably by tomorrow morning, Princess Charlotte will gain consciousness," Damien stated. "You don't want to be infected because of the wounds. Remove your shirt," he again said and Édouard did that.
Damien examined Édouard's arms first and found deeper cuts on them. He then looked at his torso. There were two cuts right below his right chest.
"Why don't you tell me how it happened?" Damien asked and he stood up from the chair. He went to the door and opened it to tell the servant outside to bring warm water. Damien returned to his place and asked Édouard to begin.
