A familiar touch Charlotte felt on her lips. She stopped screaming and opened her eyes. Édouard had his hand on her mouth and he slowly put it down when she stopped screaming.
"You scared me," Charlotte said.
"And you almost burst my ear," Édouard remarked. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I lost my way to the chamber," Charlotte said. She realized that he was with the princes and Aurora. She looked around and did not find them there.
"Are you looking for someone, Cherry?" Édouard asked.
"Were you not with Aurora?" Charlotte questioned him instead of answering. "The servant told me," she added so that Édouard would not think that she was jealous of the presence of a woman around Édouard.
"I was with Kenric and Benedict. Aurora joined us later," Édouard stated. "You were not awake so I thought to let you sleep for some more time," he asserted.
"Oh. Are you three close to each other? You are not using the titles," Charlotte said with a suspicious gaze.
