After leaving the hospital, Kousuke was in a rush to get to President Kishimoto. The middle-aged man was supposed to attend to his tasks at the headquarter. Thus, he made his way there.
Fury swallowed Kousuke whole every time he remembered his father's meeting with Heisuke last night. Even though the meeting was utterly unrelated to the accident, he was still angry with his father.
How could he not?
Kousuke witnessed the horror of watching Heisuke almost get hit by the car. As if life was drained out of his body, he lay on the ground frozen after being pushed away by his friend.
Fortunately...
Heisuke didn't receive any direct blow from the car. He sustained some injuries including the head one but, those were better than what Kousuke was frightened of.
At least, Heisuke had woken up. That would be a great step in his recovery.
