Everything was a blur to Hisaki. She couldn't remember much about what happened after Mr. Hokama revealed the bad news to her.
Hisaki vaguely recalled she went to pack a few of her clothes and some other important stuff. Then, she followed Mrs. Saeki and Mr. Hokama to the car waiting downstairs.
The city was still blanketed by silence when they made their way to the airport. Still so dark, like how she unconsciously pictured her world right now.
Mr. Hokama handled everything regarding booking the flight tickets. Hisaki and Mrs. Saeki waited at the chairs provided in the area. They were accompanied by Mr. Hokama's cousin and his wife.
The spouses were the ones who drove them to the airport. They were Kenji's parents.
Soon, Mr. Hokama returned to them. He was able to secure three seats for the earliest flight to the capital. They would depart at seven. The time right now was a quarter past six.
