Hisaki was unsure why but, a strong urge to re-read the letter again overcame her once she returned home alone from work earlier. She didn't want to entertain the thoughts so, she tried to focus on preparing the ingredients for dinner.
Yet, the familiar words in the letter kept resurfacing in her mind until she was defeated by her desire. She left the ingredients untouched on the kitchen table as she rushed into the bedroom.
All this time, Hisaki kept Heisuke's last letter to her inside a box together with a few more items. They included the late Mrs. Fujimori's diaries and the book she used to write the details of her past life.
Hisaki was happy because she was able to meet her old man Heisuke earlier in this life. She was also grateful that they were already together again, but...
