Hisaki felt bad for abruptly leaving Mari's house like that but, she couldn't stand to be with Okawa Hitomi anymore. She reached her limits when that woman suddenly talked as if her family was doing something bad.
Hisaki wore her shoes at the entryway. Mari was still closely following her from behind. When they stood at the door, Mari opened her lips to speak.
"Hisaki, I'm sorry. My senior knows about your situation, but... I didn't expect her to speak like that."
Mari was so apologetic toward Hisaki. She invited her friend over because both of them hadn't meet each other in a long time. This unforeseeable event made Mari uncomfortable.
Her senior Okawa Hitomi had moments when she took everything personally. The direct way she questioned people made some distance themselves from her.
But, Mari never thought that Okawa Hitomi was a bad person. Only her frankness was out of place sometimes.
