The attack at the port didn't reach Hisaki's ears because the ones who knew kept their mouths shut about it. Mr. Kajiwara reminded them to be careful about spreading the news, afraid the assailant was actually among them.
After the work hours ended, Hisaki stopped by the Ikeda family home for a few matters.
Once Hisaki arrived, Mrs. Ikeda invited her for tea. They sat in the kitchen. Because Mrs. Ikeda opened the sliding door of the area, Hisaki could see the beautiful and peaceful garden of the courtyard house.
