In the end, Hisaki asked nothing.
When she first opened her mouth after making up her mind, one of the part-timers came to find her father. As she saw that he grew busier, she mentioned just walking around the store before going home.
Takuya returned shortly after. Some snow was caught on his black hair and shoulders as it started falling again.
"Dad's busy. Let's go home," said Hisaki while patting her brother's wet shoulders.
Takuya glanced around the busy store, "Okay."
The two siblings walked under the curtain of snow. Fortunately, it was just a light fall.
While Takuya led Hisaki on the unfamiliar road heading to their new house, she grabbed this opportunity to look around her.
Hisaki had rarely been in this part of the small town. The old house and her dad's previous store were in opposite directions. The elementary, middle and high schools that she attended also were not in this way.
