What Heisuke suddenly brought up kept lingering in Hisaki's mind. She couldn't stop thinking about it even a week later. More so when she received a call from Takuya one night.
The call timely came when Hisaki had just walked out of the school building after class. Heisuke went to get the bike from the shelter. She waited for him on the sidewalk, bracing for the cold wind. Other students were loitering around her.
"My winter break starts on the 25th. Sister, when is your ticket? I'll pick you up at the station."
Hisaki's silence earned a sigh from Takuya. Without waiting for his sister to say anything, he whispered, "Please come home, Sister. We haven't seen you in months. Just stay for a few days, can't you?"
Takuya's sincere pleading pushed the remaining of Hisaki's doubt. Still, she wouldn't easily go back without stating a condition.
