Earlier I had nothing to do so I thought of taking a walk in the park near here. As I was walking I met Aimee.
She has been my friend since I lived here with nana 5 years ago.
"Red!" She calls my attention. "Hey babes, it's good that you're part of the search, I already have someone with me. I'm not a loner anymore, ahh" she said happily with another scream as she wrapped his arms around my arm.
"What is that search and you look excited?" I asked her because she was a year older than me so she knew what they were saying "search". She is 19 while I was only 18.
"Of course, it's so much fun. The men are yummy" she said, still giggling, my forehead furrowed. Men? Yummy? What the hell is she talking about? "Wait, what yummy are you saying there?" I asked her confused.

"You didn't know?" It's as if she's amazed at me or what. "No" I simply answered her and started walking again.
"Didn't your Nana tell you?" She asked in astonishment. I shook my head and continued walking.
"What is this search?" I asked her again and stopped slightly and turned to her then resumed walking.
"Isn't it on Sunday?" I nodded. Nana said earlier that it will be held this week so I know.
"All women 18 and older who have never had a partner will be blindfolded and taken to the hall. The search will take place there. There will be men who will approach you so they can find out if you are what they are looking for. They can kiss you, touch you, or do whatever they want to do because they have a right to whatever they want to do to you. Every man will go for the search" she explained to me and that's where I understood the search they were saying.
I didn't continue to go on a walk in the park because of what I found out. When I heard that, I suddenly left without saying anything even though Aimee was still calling me.
I kept going back and forth into my room and covered myself still thinking about what Aimee said earlier until drowsiness came to visit me and I fell asleep.
Day's passed and I'm here in my room laying in my bed and staring at the ceiling. This is the day that the festival of "mencari" is going to celebrate. Mencari is the other term for search.
I do not know what to do. It's will be gonna held later and here I am about to cry. "If they choose you, you will be taken to the man's house and you can't get away from them because they already own you," said Aimee "Eh you can't go back to your house like that?" I asked her nervously "Uhhmm no? But it depends on the man who got you" I remembered the conversation I had with Aimee last Friday.
What if I get selected? What will happen to Nana when the one who got me takes me away? I asked myself and my eyes started to get wet.
What if I run away? But how? Nana will still be left. But just today, I'll be back when the celebration is over. That's it.
I was about to pack my things when the door of my room suddenly opened and Nana went to my room.
I smiled at her awkwardly. "Red dear, bring this robe of mine when the officers arrive" Nana handed me a red silk robe.
"Nana, do you need to send me there? The celebration can continue without me, right Nana?" I question hopefully, please say yes Nana, I whispered in my mind.
Nana just smiled and combed my hair with her hand.
"No my dear, all women of their legal age that hasn't found their partner should join the search, because that is our tradition that we inherited from our ancestors." She explained to me. But I'm still not convinced of it.
"Get ready, because someone will pick you up. " Nana said last before leaving my room.
I just sighed and stared at my room for a few more minutes before preparing for the celebration. I guess I didn't have a choice huh?
I chose to wear black pants and a white t-shirt that I paired with white shoes. I just let my hair down because it is very straight brown at night and gold when the sun shines.
I heard the honking of a car. Nana was waiting for me in the living room so I quickly went downstairs. Nana smiled at me. "My granddaughter is really beautiful. " Nana complimented me that I just laughed.
I asked her one last time if I could still back out and her line was " you can't dear blah blah blah".
I hugged Nana and kissed her cheek. "All right, Red. They're already waiting for you." Nana said and parted from me in a hug. I hugged her once more before I decided to leave.
Nana accompany me until I could get in the van. I gasped as I sat in the car. "Woah, it was deep" I was surprised because someone spoke next to me.
My eyes widened when I saw Aimee here. And I was even more surprised because there were more than ten of us.
"Are you so surprised?" Aimee asked with a laugh. I stopped talking and quietly looked out the window. Did we go down to a .. eh? Mansion? I thought it will be held in the hall?
"We will get dressed here," said Aimee next to me. I frowned at her. "Dressed? Why? Are we naked?" I wonder question her. She laughed at me.
"Silly, I mean the one we're going to wear for the search," she said and stared. "Is it okay for us to wear that?" I answer her.
"This festival looks like a school, you have a uniform" she replied to me. Before I could ask we were called by a beautiful woman in her mid 30's.
Aime and I get up from our seats. I ended up in a gay.
"Are you new?" the fagot asked me. Her name is Sisi. She's been fixing me before, she's done with my make -up and she's just putting lipstick on my lips.
I winced because it was so red. Like my name, red. "Yes" was my short answer to which he nodded.
"Are you sure you're only 18?" She questions it while she's looking for something in the closet. I wondered, why do I look 30? I asked myself. "Yes, I was only eighteen" I replied to her.
"Don't get me wrong, but because your chest is so well-shaped, I hope all!" She screamed so I frowned, a lot of people say that I was blessed in the chest and I will not deny that.
He handed me the red cloth. "Wear that quickly! Because it's only an hour and the Mencari will start" the gay man said excitedly, so I had no choice but to go to the car and get dressed.
I winced and almost cursed as I put on the dress he gave me. Jesus! It's like I look like a prostitute. It's too short.
I looked in the mirror and was shocked because it's too revealing and you can see the things that should not be seen.
Well, I'm wearing red nighties that are too short. I can only see my white panties a little upside down, add that it fits me so my body is very curved and my chest is bulging.
I frowned as I came out of the bathroom and saw sisi sitting in the chair and looking so bored waiting for me. "Oh thank god! You're done-- Oh my god!" She screamed when she saw me.
"You're so sexy my ghadd I hope all have a body like yours. I'm sure the yummy fafa will grab you there so yummy!" He said as if imagining.
When I came out of the room I didn't see Aimee because I was blindfolded and put in the car.
While on the flight, I was sweating coldly due to nervousness. I don't know what will happen later.
I always move in my seat because I'm not comfortable because of what I'm wearing. "Don't move" I heard the person next to me say.
"Sorry" I apologized but she ignored me.

"Bro, aren't you coming with me to the party? Maybe you'll find your mate there." Josh asked me while I was busy with the paperwork.
"I can't, I'm still doing a lot and you've been participating for so long, and yet you still can't find your mate." I tease him.
"Tss, of course, she wasn't of her legal age at that time, you know maybe I can find her now." Josh is smiling while saying it to me.
"Come on bro, leave that first, there's still tomorrow." He insisted
"Nah, I need to finish this as soon as possible" I replied to him. He was in the middle of bugging me when the door opened and dad entered.
He cleared his throat and said, "Kyle, why don't you go with josh?" Dad asked me so I turned to him. "I need to finish this dad" I replied.
"Leave it to me, you can go," he said and smiled as I glanced at josh who was already smiling.
"Okay, you finally joined in the search hahaha," he said and laughed, tss. I was just quiet in the car while Josh is continue blabbering.
We have a driver and Josh said he was too lazy to drive at the same time.
It took us a few hours before we reached the town of Sta. Livara. We got out of the car and Josh took the lead on the walk.
"This is it, we're going to party hahaha," he said happily and continued walking and I just followed him.

My hands were tied to an iron. My two hands were tied above my head to the iron that was behind me and my eyes were covered with a blindfold my feet were barefoot on the cement so I could feel the cold of it.
Fortunately, I took what nana gave me in my clothes and put them on because I had been getting cold for a while.
The search they say has already begun and I was still nervous as hell.
I felt someone smell my neck so I turned my head and he got a chance to smell it more. I didn't mean that, I just wasn't comfortable.
Eventually, he sniffed my hair and crawled his hand from my waist down to my thigh and up to my waist.
I wanted to cry and shout to him that he should stop what he was doing but something seemed to be holding me back and I liked what this person was doing.
