I was still bleeding when the hooded person left. The cut was a little bit deep but I tore a part of my cloth and cover the wound with it.
I lay on the floor having lost so much blood already. The energy surprisingly has not turned off. It was still active. This time though, it was not growing.
It has been at a standstill for some time now, perhaps, since I was cut. It wasn't supplying me with an insane amount of energy like during a fight. The energy has rather gathered around my chest and it was somehow healing the wound from inside.
I decided to stay on the rooftop for some time before returning to my dorm. I was feeling weak and end up falling asleep.
Blood had stopped coming out of the wound when I woke up. It was healing as well. The energy was still active but it was reducing rapidly. It was like it gets used up as the wound heals.
I untied the cloth on the wound after some time and it was at a point where I would not feel a lot of pain from it. I left the rooftop past midnight and returned to my dorm. I walked quite far away from the dorm, dispose of the bloodstained cloth, and sneaked back to my room.
I feared that night that I might go for a very long time again if I sleep. The last time I used the energy, I went unconscious for a week. It was active for just a few minutes then but I used it for hours this time and it even healed my wound.
The sun was up and everyone had left the room when I woke up. I checked my date and it was just the following day. I was glad.
I closed my eyes to check if the energy was still active but it was gone. I tried to activate it but I got the same result as before. I decided to ignore the energy and just go about my day's activity.
I have to find a fifth person to join the group today. We currently have me, Jane, Katie, and Rio. I will have to find the person after the school activities. For now, I'll head to class and catch up with the afternoon lesson.
I was walking to the martial arts hall with Jane after the last lesson of the day. We were talking over the things that happened yesterday. She asked why I was late to class and I just said I didn't wake up early.
There were already some students in the hall when we got to the hall but the training hasn't started yet. I and Jane decided to just stay in a corner and wait for the training to start.
While we were waiting and discussing some things, we noticed some students gathered at the far end of the hall. There was someone in their middle and from the look of things, they are trying to get something from him.
Jane saw them too and suggested that we help the person out but I decided not to interfere yet. Master Leao was in the hall but he wasn't close enough to notice what was going on.
"Master Leao can deal with them if it blows off," I said to Jane.
We watched on for a while and after some time, the boys dispersed and left the person they were shrouding. It looks like they settled whatever their problem is without a fight.
The class started soon after. It was a normal class, just like before. Master Leao showed us some moves first and we imitate the moves after him. The class ended about an hour later and we were all about to leave when a boy stepped out and declared a spar.
It wasn't a new thing for students to declare spars immediately after training. In fact, most spars in the martial arts class are immediately after training, so everyone could see your strength and most importantly, before Master Leao.
The boy who announced the spar came out and he called out his opponent. When the person he was supposed to fight came out though, I knew it wasn't just a spar. It was the boy that was shrouded before the training began.
The boy came out of the crowd. It was obvious that he wasn't confident. His eyes showed fear and it looked like he accepted the spar against his will.
Before the fight started though, I began to hear whispers from students. Some were laughing and pointing at the boy who just stepped out, others are whispering things in their friends' ears.
"Don't you know him?" a student close to me said to his friend. "He is number 52 The last person in the class."
"He must have a death wish" the other exclaimed. "He is the weakest in this class and he wants to fight Moses, the number 4."
"He must not have realized earlier. I feel for him now" the boy said.
The fight was about to start. We formed a large circle to serve as a stage for the fight. The two boys are in the middle, ready to begin the fight.
"Mase" someone called.
It was loud and everyone froze because we all know who the voice belongs. It was Master Leao.
"Officiate the fight," he said.
I have never officiated a fight before. Though it was intriguing to be in charge of a fight, I didn't feel that way now because I would have loved to see this fight from the outside. Nevertheless, I accepted. Not like I could reject though.
"Fight!" I exclaimed.
Lewis as expected went on the offensive. He was attacking the boy like a wild animal. He threw kicks and sent punches and everything at the boy.
The fight was progressing rapidly. A fight that everyone believed would end in a matter of seconds was dragging on for minutes.
The surprising part of the fight till this moment is the fact that the boy is yet to receive a single hit. He has been dodging Lewis' attacks perfectly.
Though he wasn't attacking, his method of dodging and blocking Lewis' attacks has been superb. Sooner or later, Lewis will tire out.
After about 10 minutes of forth and defense between them, Lewis left an opening and for the first time in that fight, the boy attacked. He connected a devastating kick to Lewis' nether region.
"Ahhhhhh!!!" everyone screamed.
My mouth was left wide open at what I'm seeing. Lewis was on the floor, rolling and clutching onto his nether region.
It was an interesting spar. An incredible one at that, perhaps, the best everyone in that hall that day has ever witnessed. An underdog, not just an underdog, but the last in the class has emerged a winner.
Lewis was still on the floor in pain and needs attention but I must announce the winner first.
"The winner of this spar is...number 52!!!"
