Xu Lei was the first to arrive at the hospital. Her eyes were wide with worry as she rushed towards Jiang Xun. The air was thick with tension as she urgently inquired about the horrifying events that had brought her brother to this emergency room.
"Jiang Xun, what happened? What happened to my brother?"
Upon seeing Xu Lei's worried face, Jiang Xun's head hung low with a heavy weight of guilt. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she found it difficult to meet Xu Lei's gaze.
Jiang Xun with tears streaming down her face, replied in a trembling voice, choked with emotion, "Sister Xu, I'm so sorry... It's all my fault. This terrible thing happened because of me."
