Phoenix-eyes glanced around the unfamiliar area
Reito has been traveling for hours but found no luck in finding the river but that was until he found this place with the sounds of water running but no sign of any river could be seen
He narrowed his eyes and tried to focus on the sound, the quiet forest made it fairly easy for him to locate the sound
Reito started walking towards a random direction, trusting his gut feeling and walking to the place he assumes the sounds are from
He walks around a bush and comes to a halt after seeing a river after so long
He let out a huge sigh and started to look around for any signs of sirens
He pursed his lips when he found no signs of any sirens around
"Did I come to the wrong river?" Reito mumbled before sitting down on a nearby rock
He looked at his hands that were covered in deer blood and frowned
"Master hates filth…" He whispered before looking towards the river in contemplation
Should he wash his shirt in the river?... but he doesn't even know if there will be any potential danger…
After thinking for a long while, Reito got up and pulled his shirt off to wash it
The sun reflected on his tan muscles as he stretched his arms to relief some of the tension on his muscles
He bent down and looked at himself in the river's reflection
His eyes blinked at his unkept appearance, his hair was tangled, his tan skin has dirt on it from the never-ending search of the River
He squeezed his eyes shut as he breathed heavily, quite irritated at himself for getting himself dirty
Reito walked inside the river and stopped once the river reached to his hips
He bent down and started to rub the shirt that was dirtied with deer blood
Once the shirt was done, he hung it on a tree branch and started cleaning himself up… Unaware of the glowing eyes piercing at his exposed back

"Look, sister… a guest has finally come to our house" A low voice shrilled as the glowing eyes looked towards a certain direction
Suddenly another pair of glowing eyes emerged from the darkness
"It sure has" The owner of the red glowing eyes cackled in delight as both of the sisters started swimming towards the person standing in their river
Just when they were about to catch the prey, a pair of arms came inside the water and held both of the sisters in a chock hold
The sister with red eyes shrilled in panic as her long black hair flowed behind her as she tried desperately to escape the person that held them
The other siren with gold eyes started slapping the hand around her neck with her tail as her braided brown hair was starting to come undone with all the movement she was making
"Where is master?" The person growled making both of them stand still, fear trickled at their hearts but they hid it quite professionally
"We do not know who or where your master is! Let us go!!" The brown haired siren responded to him as her movement started to slow down due to exhaustion
"Lies…." The man muttered and pressed more pressure on their necks
"OKAY, OKAY!! We do not know who you are talking about but someone recently passed by our river with a cart and there was a guy tied in ropes behind that cart!" The siren with black hair explained as the man raised a questioning brow
"…" Reito released the sirens and watched them flee
"Terrifying my ass" Reito whispered before going to dry his shirt
A few minutes passed by and when the shirt was deemed wearable, Reito started walking in the direction that the sirens pointed at
He huffed when he felt his tangled hair with his fingers
He started to walk at a fast pace until he heard shuffling coming from somewhere
Reito stopped and looked to the side but found nothing
He frowned before walking towards that area and looking around until he saw something from the corner of his eyes
A person in a guard's suit was breathing heavily while leaning against a tree
As he slowly started walking towards them, he noticed their injured leg and pursed his lips
Upon getting near that person, he could clearly hear that person's mumbling as the person was yet to discover his presence
"I have to go; He must be waiting" The person mumbled as their breathing started to become heavier
"Excuse me" The person looked up and Reito noticed that the person was a female
"Yes, may I help you…?" The person asked but it looked like she was still mumbling about someone
"Yes, I'm looking for a guy, He has shoulder length brown hair and he's about this tall" Reito awkwardly motioned his hand to his chin, indicating his master's height
The female frown before she began speaking
"Does he have a black cat…?" She asked and Reito nodded, confirming her suspicion
"T-That boy!" She stuttered before speaking
"H-he has black eyes and a thin figure" She spoke and Reito once again nodded
"Y-you!" She shouted out of nowhere, startling Reito as he flinched before pointing at himself
"Yes, you!" She shouted again before her eyes twinkled with hope
"What about me…?" Reito finally questioned the female as she looked too happy and hopeful to respond
"Huh?" The female said as she looked up, completely forgetting about her injured leg
"I said, What are you shouting 'You' for?" Reito asked before he saw the female purse her lips before speaking
"Bent down, I can't let anyone else hear!"
Reito bent down to her level before she began speaking
"This is the royal warrior Kurai's territory, I don't know how you went past the sirens that he let loose in the river near this place but…" The woman to a deep breath before continuing
"But you need to save that boy and go far away from here…"
