Prologue
" You're gonna figure the rest out on your own " death carelessly said
" What do you mean I figure the rest on my own"
" It's your life not mine!!!!"
" YOU'RE THE ONE WHO FORCEFULLY GAVE ME THIS LIFE "
" Ungrateful...."
Chapter 3 : a new life , with new uncertainty
" So...this world I've put you in is rather alittle different from the world you're used to " death said , with a rather serious tone than the usual. Except the only thing that made things alittle more intriguing for me was his cute little voice
" Hahahaha" I burst out uncontrollably
" What's so funny this time" he complained
" No no haha go on please forgive me" I said trying to hold back my laughter . But I could clearly see the tension In his pupeles eyes and they meant business.
" Okay so.... what's the un usual thing about this world" I asked with a little more serious tone and expression . Gathering my attention I was ready to litsen to whatever death hand in store. Seeing that was the only way I'd learn to navigate this new life of mine. In a completely different world.
" Huhuhuhuhu " death muttered out , his face completely blushing in pink
" Since when did you get a cell phone" I burst
" Anything wrong with that " he responded so confidently
'' everything is wrong with that ... everything....you completely go passed the expectations of grim ripper " I burst
" WHO THE HELL ARE YOU " I bust grappling his collar hard and tight
" Let go " he said so blunt , his tone rather serious this time it gave me chills down my spine to littlest inch of my toes.
" Germs " I muttered to myself seeing that I was just from touching his neck tie
The air around us was rather humid and calm . The atmospheric breeze sent soothing kisses down my spine, that being accompanied by the vibrant performance of the drizzling leaves coming from the trees around my the neighborhood.
Silence completely enveloped us for about a few minutes. Leaving the air completely leaning with tension and soon to be answered questions.
" So this is the setting of the world you now live in " death said raising his hand and into an entire void of images exhibiting all sorts of information about this world laid forward. " Woow," my eyes widened mesmerized by scenery of each view .
" It looks just like my old world you idiot" I irritatingly muttered
" Shut up and understand that's it's completely different either way you got me human " death burst
" Huuhh " I gasped with mock offense
" So this is a world similar to the earth you're used to in appearance, but it's alot more larger than the average " death explained
" Larger than the average " I asked
" Yes.....composed of over 16 different continents. 4 different moons and a rather more big in racial variety." He explained , revealing more to this world than I had anticipated
" Is that a giraffe wearing a suit " my eyes widened in shock
" Sure is " death grinned
The world I had been put was definitely called planet earth . Except it was alittle bigger in mass and ratio width. Having a number of 16 different continents. Housing a number of a variety of ethnic groups each with their own distinguished culture of existence. From humans.....to rare hybrid looking humans....to something entirely seen from a kids cartoon , evolved animals... living their lives and mingling about with other human beings.
" Fascinating" I said
" Indeed it is .....I'm not going into much detail as to the rest of this worlds setting I'll just let you in on thing's I personally believe will be of great importance." Said death
" Alright.." I agreed
" So as you know the reason you're hear is simply because you didn't live life to fullest in your past life that is.... despite having enough.... some nerve " he exclaimed
I noded with an iritated frown just anticipating and holding my words back
" As a matter of fact....you might just have to start over again "
" Start over again " I exclaimed confused.
" The rules you'll be given are simple Dot.....live life to the fullest and make most of the struggle....in short " with a wide grin " éñjœ it "
" Enjoy it .... how " I asked.....
" Look.... you've been given the power to read minds.....as requested for In that wish of yours " death said ...as I nodded in agreement.
" Buy you've also been given a few ...flaws to accommodate that "....he further added
"That irritation towards germs I kept on getting earlier....." I added
"Yess....and also alittle more that you'll have to found out on your own "....he added
" What do you mean I'll find out on my own " I burst
" I mean it's your life not mine " he casually said.. having a hint of I don't care stenching from his face
" YOU'RE THE ONE WHO GAVE IT ME!!" I burst out
" Ungrateful " death muttered.
" Looook.....I don't know why.....but I'm " I said with my expression faltered while I felt a really tuff sting to my stomach.... trying to gather up the right words " it's just that .....I don't know why.....I feel so uncertain.....I."
" I feel like....." I said pondering over the memories of my past life. How I chose to navigate each task of my life with absolute dominance over all that stood in my way . From getting a job... either it being climbing the ranks for cold hard promoting or securing a big business deals for future investment.
Despite each odd having it's own risks...I always jumped in ... regardless of me thinking about what the outcome would be. In short....fear was something that was not whiting me till now....and then fact that I felt the way I did at the moment.... only brought a sense of urgency and irritation towards my being and existence.
".....I feel like.....I'm Afraid of taking any further steps into the unknown.....the uncertain...I don't know why....from this fear of Germs.....to now having to navigate the entirety of this new life..I."
But before finishing my sentence...death gave me a gentle poke my forehead.....
I couldn't tell what expression he carried on that cute skeleton face of his....but his aura just gave me a sense of assurance and certainty.." Litsen...if I give you each and every detail about the life you're soon to bare out there...where would the fun be in that " he said so calm...his voice sent echoes of calm stream flowing towards a river to pine.
"....fun in that...." I asked below a whispers tone
" Life is supposed to be uncertain....that way we'd figure out just how exactly were supposed to navigate each rear ... I can't go much into detail right now Dot...but I want you to personally figure it all out on your own." He said
" How " I asked.....
" By living....." He said
" Huhh ??"
" To the fullest..."....
As death begun to fade away into the vast expanse of the never ending sky....his words sent a ring to my ears.....one that spelt urgency yet gentleness...
Despite having this uncertain fear....in my chest...I gazed up..... and said to myself " live huhhh "
" Fascinating"
