Synopsis
I was born in a white room, held by people in white coats all of my life. I never dreamed of the world outside my four walls and I always hoped that someday I would get to see it, who knew that, that day would be on my 21st birthday.

Chapter 1 - white

Years ago, when I was a nine year old curious boy, I wandered around the house of white walls, white ceilings and white tiles in search for my brothers when I stumbled upon a room.

The room was bigger than mine and it had a strange bed with straps all over it. In the bed sat a young girl, I think she was older than me. I've seen her before, with her huge stomach and waddling walk, always with a smile on her face. Now, she wasn't smiling. She was screaming. Very loudly.

Gripping the stirrups tightly and growling at anybody who passed her. I grew scared and backed up against the wall beside the door, fearing that she would somehow break from her restraints and come for me. And it almost happened, one of her restraints broke and her hand came flying in my direction. Her red eyes fixated on me and I could see the haze of anger and hurt blinding her.

In that moment, a man appeared. wearing the same white coat I saw on most of the people. He looked towards me and then towards her. back and forth he went, trying to understand the situation. He then crouched down before me and in a whisper, called my name.

"Blake, what are you doing outside your room?"

I stared at him with my big eyes, scared that I will be scolded and punished by being thrown outside to be eaten. That's how the big kids got punished and they never came back.

"I-i was looking for my brothers. I thought they were here."

I looked over his shoulder again. The women from before was still staring in our direction but this time her gaze just said pain and fear. She was clutching her big belly and shivering while releasing a few growls. I wonder why she's afraid.

"Blake, Seth and Sage are playing near the kitchen by the east wing. they are nowhere near here."

He said. His eyes were unreadable and a strand of salt and pepper hair fell into his eyes. Obstructing the view of his hazel brown eyes. The wrinkles around his eyes told the stories of years, years I have yet to live. I nod back to him, keeping my eyes on his hair and slowly retreating outside the room where I ran all the way to the east wing. My heart pounding and the trial of white never ending.
