Mr. Gu's face hardened as he turned to the servants standing by the door. His voice was cold, void of any warmth.
"Take her out," he commanded, his tone brooking no argument. "I don't want her in this house anymore."
The servants hesitated for a moment, their eyes flickering to Mrs. Gu, but she didn't say a word. Her lips trembled, and she clutched her hands together tightly, unable to meet Aihan's gaze.
"No!" Aihan screamed, scrambling to her feet. Her tear-streaked face was pale with desperation. "You can't do this to me! I won't leave! This is my home!"
She clung to the edge of the table, her fingers turning white as she resisted the servants who approached her.
"Please! I'm begging you! Don't throw me out! I'll do anything—anything!" she cried, her voice cracking.
But Mr. Gu's expression didn't waver. His eyes were cold, as though he was looking at a stranger.
