" You used the time gem!?" My voice cracked a little when I realise what is happening.

The others also revealed an expression of shock, they never expected that Thanos use the time gem to peak at the alternate future.
Mr Stark remembered Dr Strange also used that technique when they were on Titan. He frowned as he contemplated what might have happened on that alternate future that he considers Cain a threat.

After I blurted out the question, I followed up by saying " Seeing your condition right now. You lost numerous times and decided on only one thing to victory is by destroying all the stones."
Thanos stopped staring at me as he said while grinning " You're potential are limited because you contain it. On many alternate future, you chose the woman over the rest. Because every time I am almost winning, you will burst out of your morality and causing my demise. "
" That's why I looked farther and found an alternate where I won but I must use to stones to destroy the stones." Thanos taunted as his eyes overflowed with confidence and bloodthirstiness of a warrior.
Pietro couldn't take it anymore as he throw a punch and kick Thanos as demanded " You're lying! Where is the damn stones? I need it, Wanda. "
Pietro broke down as he knelt while murmuring the name of his sister.
Tony looked at Pietro and Thor step forward wanting to cleave Thanos chest but Bruce held him down.
Nebula, who had been staying quiet as she face her own father who selfishly killed her own sister and a friend. " My father may be anything but he is not a liar."
Thanos gazing at Nebula, he murmured as he remembered when Gamora and Nebula are still kids and he took cared of both of them and trained them together but he also favoured more Gamora than Nebula all those years " My daughter, perhaps I've treated you harshly all this time."
Nebula looked away as she cannot look at her father's eyes but still didn't leave as this maybe is her last time to look at him.
Thanos taut muscle relaxed down as he looked at Thor's eyes as he prepares for his last words " You wanted revenge, Odinson? You lost several times… and lost your everyone. "
Electricity and blue fire, an Asgardian magic filled the axe and his eyes as Thanos continued taunting him.
" I succeeded. I've achieved my goal . I'm the victorious," his voices is getting louder but it also contained a certain dignity that comes from wielding so much power. It continuously rang inside the ears of everyone specially Thor, who already been clouded by rage.
" I AM INEVITABLE "

Thor's eyes and the axe receded the lightning after he is done.
Rocket looked at the headless body and the head that rolled for a meter away " What did you do? "
Thor replied as he walked away as his mind and body tirelessly carried himself toward the Milano. " I killed him. He's defeated and now dead. "
The team looked at each other depressed. I walked towards Pietro as he is still kneeling down and said in my normal voice " Thanos mentioned looking through alternate future, maybe.. just maybe this won't be the last time we will meet him. If there is a chance, even a little bit that those people who disappeared can come back, I hope you are strong and ready."
Thor is already far away and the others just listen to my words but don't have time to take it seriously as my words is nigh impossible with the stones gone.
Captain Marvel wanted to incinerate Thanos to ashes but Nebula pleaded that she's the one to do it.
Carol let her be the one to cremate and bury Thanos as her last obligation as his daughter even though she hate him.
They all goes back to the Milano with tired look, the planet is peaceful and quiet but the mood inside the Milano are so depressing that I wish to go back immediately.
Nebula burned Thanos and the whole hut together with the corpse to be cremated. The others watched the whole thing happening, Nebula came back by herself and boarded the Milano and seated herself to the pilot seat with Rocket.
Jumping through a wormholes, the Millennium Falcon left the planet and goes back to Earth. They silently left the planet and now they also quietly returned with defeated look.
We dispersed after a short discussion and will meet again in a few days for a meeting. They had many things to discuss but it seems Tony and Captain Steve got less and less interaction.
After going back home, we saw on our way a not so vibrant cities. The people are still afraid of what happened and criminals who are in hiding caused disorder everywhere.
I and Lyla had to solve many guys on the way. The people are still in chaotic society but it is much smaller turmoil compared to
weeks ago.
