And lo and behold, the d-day has come, Bifrost energy or rainbow bridge strike on the New York city.
Not long after, Tony contacted me that Bruce Banner came back to Earth Alone.
I refrained from flying as it's still daylight, Lyla teleported as both where the address of New York sanctuary is. I've instructed Lyla to leave some light fragment here days ago in case something like this happen.
When we got inside, we saw Mr. Stark talking with Bruce while Dr. Strange and Wong is standing on the side.
We greeted them and Bruce ask us confused, " Who are these guys? Are you the new Avengers? You don't wear clothes like these guys, by the way they are called sorcerers."
Talkative Bruce is very in contrast with always angry Hulk so he kept talking until I interrupted.
" Mr. Bruce Banner, It's me Cain, I'm the one you all brought when Vision is just born and to fight Ultron at Sokovia. I even have your autograph."
The autograph by the way have been destroyed during my fight with Kaecillius but got brought back by Dr. Strange and I refrained from bringing it again with me.
Bruce stared at my face and said " Oh, You're the kid we saved from Hydra, I remember you fought with Thor and Tony with Steve before you got knocked down to a ice coffin. And this is?" Bruce ask about Lyla.
" This is Lyla, my disciple and we're part of Avengers with Captain Steve, they are probably in Wakanda right now."
Dr. Strange " Okay, you are done introducing yourself, now let's get to the topic. Mr. Banner, can you please tell us the news?"
Bruce " Thanos. He is coming for all the infinity stones, we fought for a long time at the ship and even crash to some moon in the space but we don't have a chance."
Bruce seemed aware of what's happening even if he transformed into Hulk. " The battle is intense, Thanos toyed us, he already had the Infinity Gauntlet mounted to it was one infinity gem, the power stone."
"Thor without his hammer is not as powerful and Loki's tricks don't work on pure power of Thanos. We are defeated unsurprisingly, the last time I saw them was they are all critically injured, Heimdall use the Bifrost power to send me back to warn you all and-.."
Bruce seemed to remembered the battle where all of them are defeated by Thanos and his generals and even with Thor's power only damages severely Thanos fleet.
" Thor's lightning damages Thanos spaceship to buy me time to reach here and prepare for war."
The hall was silent for couple of seconds and Tony asked " Thanos? Mad Titan, why does he need to collect all infinity stones, what other information do we have on this?"
Dr. Strange look on my direction and I just shrugged as even I don't know everything or most things about infinity stones.
I looked at Wong and Wong step forward to explain what are infinity stones.
Wong waved his hands to create an illusion while explaining " The dawn of the universe created six elemental crystals hurling across the universe, these infinity stones each control an essential aspect of existence. The space stone, reality stone, power stone, soul stone, mind stone and-.." pointed to Strange's chest " time stone.
The hall showed a six beautiful lights coming from each different infinity stones from the projection.
Bruce started to hysterical conversation with Tony, " Thanos sent Loki on the battle of New York, that's him and he already got the power stone and space stone attached to his Infinity Gauntlet, he attacked our ship because he is certain space stone is on our ship"
Tony " How much time do we have?" Tony glance at me before replying to Bruce.
" Cain already warned us about Thanos and the world is on preparation, can you estimate how strong is he and his fleets?"
Tony directed his question to Bruce who have experience fighting Thanos.
Bruce " He is already considered the strongest creature as even with Thor and Hulk with Loki and Heimdall cannot defeat him in frontal battle when he just have one infinity stone. His fleet is known to galaxies as conquering Mad Titan and he with wis generals have the habit of killing half life of a planet."
Tony sat on a wooden stool thinking deeply.
Bruce " We need the Avengers, where are the rest?"
Tony said while looking in my direction " it's complicated "
It's my turn to speak " The governments and UN are forcing people with superhuman abilities to their banner so Avengers split with Tony and Steve team."
Bruce " Split? The government split the Avengers by two teams and you agreed to this Tony?"
Tony rolled his eyes on him " Oh please, remember when Ultron flew an entire city and our fight in Africa? The last straw was the explosion during last one of the missions that Avengers faulted because there is a suicidal bomber."
" Tony, so why don't you call him now? Thanos is coming and we need all of us, Thor already fought with his life, it's our time now to defend this planet and defeat Thanos and we need all hands aboard." Bruce's voice soften the more he says.
Tony still has a complicated face when he remembered that last confrontation with Captain Steve that broke their friendship.
Tony grabbed on his pocket to take out a old cellphone.
" The Captain and the others have already on their way to prepare in Wakanda, they just contacted Vision now as I informed them of Mr. Bruce arrival." Lyla is quiet through the whole talks as she is already informing Steve of Bruce's arrival.
I sighed thumbs up to Lyla as what she'd done was good.
All of us just prepare to speak when a panic sound of people heard from outside. The screaming continues as we got out to look what is happening.
People running away as an spaceship is coming down on the street where sanctuary is. Tony helps people who got stumbled and also look at the donut shape spaceship that creates dust storm around.
Dr. Strange waved his hands upward to push all dust upward to clear the street of its dirt particles.
