Chapter 11 - Chapter 9 part 3

However, it was as if Alice and Arthur's words were meaningless. The two people who were pouring their longing for each other remained unmoved. The two of them were still staring at each other without wanting to be separated.

"Come on, Juliet!"

Just as Alice closed her lips, a flashlight shone in their direction. Soon, someone shouted, "Who's there?!"

The sound of footsteps slowly approaching towards them was inescapable. Filled with panic, Alice immediately grabbed someone's hand and dragged the person to hide with her behind the garden bushes.

For now, hiding was the right choice because they couldn't possibly allow themselves to be caught sneaking and meeting. Especially on a night like this, in a place with minimal lighting too. Surely people who see them will think if they have committed acts that deviate from religious norms and social norms.

"It's all because of you, Juliet! I shouldn't have allowed you to sneak in here," Alice grumbled. "Anyway if we get caught, it's all your fault!"

The girl, Alice, kept on nagging non-stop. He didn't look back at all because he was too panicked, afraid that the security guard would follow them. He didn't even realize that the person he was pulling with was not his roommate, Juliet, but someone else.

Arthur who was crouching behind Alice chuckled. "Apparently the student council president Alice isn't ascool as people say, huh," he said with a mischievous smile plastered on his lips.

Hearing that voice, Alice widened her eyes and turned her head. He suddenly shouted in surprise that Arthur had to cover Alice's mouth with his hand. Don't forget the boy flicked Alice's forehead in annoyance, the girl could have caught them off guard.

Sure enough, a few moments later, the sound of hurried footsteps was heard approaching towards them. Flashlights were seen several times shone around them. Not long after, the sound of screaming from the security guard was heard.

"Whoever's in there, hurry out!" shouted the guard with the thick mustache.

Alice cursed herself and her carelessness. Now, his fate is at stake. In no time, he would be caught and might be expelled from school. Because not only was he caught sneaking, maybe the security guard would also think that he was dating considering that he was currently hiding with a male student, Arthur.

"Get lost, both of us," she whispered fearfully.

Unable to bear to see Alice's face which looked very depressed and frightened, Arthur racked his brains to think of a way so they wouldn't be caught sneaking off. Until an idea came to him.

Arthur snapped his fingers as he said, "I have an idea!"

After saying that, Arthur without a word came out of their hiding place while spreading his arms, as if he was straining his muscles while yawning widely.

Alice who saw this could only widen her eyes because she herself did not understand the direction of Arthur's thoughts. The girl was just silent behind the bushes while looking at Arthur in disbelief. Cold sweat dripped down his body. He even had to swallow several times to suppress the nervousness that overtook him.

"So you?!" shouted the school security guard while glaring at Arthur and shining his flashlight in the boy's face. "What are you here for?"

Arthur blinked his eyes with a confused expression. "For what, huh?" He asked again. The man scratched the back of his neck while looking left and right. After that, he patted her forehead lightly. "Why am I here, sir?"

"How would I know!"

"Ah, it seems that sleep walkingreturned, sir," he said with a pitiful face to reassure the security guard.

The school security guard frowned as he rocked. This is the first time he's heard of a student at this school who has the habit of sleeping-walking. However, if he remembered that Arthur was a model student who could not lie to him, the security guard immediately believed what the man said.

Be careful, son. Next time don't forget to lock the door or use the sensor on the door so that something like this doesn't happen again," said the security guard, advising Arthur.
