"I am not here to kill you. Nor take revenge."
"Why? You must hate me with every fiber of your being right now."
"There was once a mad man who lived in this forest. People called him crazy and we all could see that his mind wasn't in the right place, he wasn't himself. One day he pushed my wife into a well. She bashed her head on the brick wall and was gone even before hitting the water. When I asked the mad man in my fury why he did what he did, he simply laughed. Do you know what I did to him?"
"You should have bashed his head in the same way."
"I gave him a hug as he was leaving town. I felt sorry for him. His mind wasn't working but I could tell that somewhere deep inside he knew what he had done. The guilt and grief were evident in his eyes even though his rotten mind didn't let him express it. I knew he would have to live the rest of his life in suppressed guilt and that, my friend, is a living hell."
"So, what, you've come to hug me?"
