"Asher, if something like this ever happens again, please tell me, okay?"
Felix asked with a tired tone and as soon as he said so, Asher grabbed the duke's hand, gently squeezing it and promising he would be more thoughtful from then on. He would definitely keep this one in his mind so if something serious like this happens again, no matter whatever it is, he would discuss it with the duke.
"I don't blame you, you know that, right?"
While Asher held his hand and tried comforting him, Felix was suddenly taken back as he felt he might have sounded cold to Asher. He didn't mean to sound or make Asher feel like he did something wrong but to make him feel like he should not deal with things alone. He wanted Asher to talk to him so Asher wouldn't have to bear all the burden alone.
