Felix, who got off the carriage, warned Anne as they entered the ballroom, drawing the attention of the people present there.
As for the presents they bought, it was delivered by the carriage driver as always since the presents would be handed over on another side of the ballroom by the servants of those guests who Felix chose his driver for. On the other side also, it was the servants assigned for this special task which was accepting and storing them safe.
Since the presents had its names and messages written by the givers, the gifts would be delivered correctly.
So, it was not something any guest would have to worry about. Felix and Anne also did not worry as they gave away the task to their carriage driver who they trusted and not unfamiliar with this kind of task.
