To Asher's words, the duke showed a light smile before answering.
"Yeah, they have done so much for me. And they are the only friends I have. But now, I have you too."
The duke looked at Asher and said in a calm manner.

"Yeah...you have done as much as they have done. You are not just a servant for me. More like a friend."

Asher had a really nice talk with the duke. He felt really happy and it was as if they had known each other for a very long time. It was warm and Asher felt very appreciated.

After their talk ended, Asher left to see Miss Anne since he knew he would have to tidy up her room as all the gifts were lying around on the floor.
That guy sent gifts full of a carriage for Anne.
