"So he is the one who saved you, not the one that kidnapped you?"
The duke asked as he looked at the pitiful-looking man on the ground.
"Mm...That guy dared to lay his dirty hands on me. Thanks to this handsome brother, I was saved."
Her dramatic talk pissed the duke. The guards looked at his reaction from the corner of their eyes. That was her usual way to piss off her brother all the time.
"Sigh...Let's go back."
The duke picked up the little girl and walked out of the room with the cold gaze still covering his face. Since his sister confirmed that Asher was the one who helped her, he let go of Asher. But he was not that impressed with him because Asher actually dared to keep her with him all night. Who knew if he was gonna take advantage of his sister?
After the people slowly disappeared from the people's site, everyone finally let out a sigh in relief.
Asher got up from the floor and looked at the messed up bed sheet and cleared everything.
That little girl was funny from his perspective. He thought she was actually a very adorable child. But little did he know as others wondered why God created such a girl.
After that incident, Asher was suddenly asked to move out of the inn. The inn owner said he was scared that the duke would be there again to look for him and he was scared that they might get on the duke's nerves.
Since Asher was left with no other choices, he finally left the inn and started to look for another place to stay.
He passed a few inns because they didn't look that welcoming. However, he couldn't find any other inn so he could only stay at one of them.
He chose an inn that looked good from the outside. The others looked horrible. So that was the only option he had left. However, it was a bad choice. He regretted it a lot.
When he entered, there were many women sitting around men. Most of the women were half naked and the men were just touching them and having fun.
Asher was disgusted. It didn't look like an inn, but like a place where they sell women and you go to hook up with them.
While regretting his choice in his mind, he got a room and quickly went in, closing the door.
'Fuck! That was disgusting! I am not staying here anymore. I must find another place tomorrow.'
Asher lay in the bed and thought furiously.
As his mind was thinking something, he felt very blank. Maybe because he was alone. It was a little uncomfortable.
'It would have been better if Mother was with me.'
Asher thought and closed his eyes. But then he heard a knock on the door all of a sudden.
He got up and walked to the door as he was thinking it must be someone from the inn. But on the other side, it was his bad luck standing there waiting for him.
Asher didn't know, but someone had got his eyes on him.
A cunning guy who auctions men and women in auctions!
Asher actually didn't think much that he would get caught by someone. He just ignored every possibility of getting into trouble, thinking people in that city might not know about such a race called 'omega'.
He was wrong.
Even though many people actually didn't have any idea about them, there were still people who knew.
He took his life way too lightly. He should have been more careful.
"Hey! Young man...why don't you join us down there? Our ladies like young people."
The man smirked and said as his eyes ran from Asher's head to toe, observing him.
"Ha ha...no thanks. I am not interested."
Asher laughed awkwardly and tried to close the door and ignore the man. But the man was faster than him.
He put his feet before Asher could close the door. Soon after, Asher saw him throwing some powder at him. That's when his gut told him he should have been careful.
His eyelids felt heavy. As he slowly closed his eyes, he saw the man smirking again.
'Fuck!'
He fell down with a thud.
...
"Hey! Don't let me repeat! Finish the bowl!"
Asher heard someone yelling like crazy. He slightly felt dizzy and he couldn't understand what was going on. After a few seconds, he recalled him passing out in front of that strange guy.
"Agh!"
His head felt heavy. He massaged his forehead and opened his eyes wanting to see what was going on. But nothing could make Asher stop feeling regretful. He should have been careful.
He was in a prison cell. It was a prison, but not for criminals.
He saw a man yelling at a woman who was crying and hugging his legs. The man kicked her and threw a food bowl toward her. Then yelled at her to finish it.
From where he was, he could see more cells that were filled with men and women around his age.
"Hey! He is awake!".
Suddenly a man passed by and saw Asher was awake. As soon as the man screamed out, that man from before appeared in front of Asher.
"Bring the lamp."
The man asked the other guy and opened the cell.
Thomas was ready to at least kick that guy, but surprisingly he had no energy in his legs and his whole body. He felt very weak.
The man grabbed him by his hair and moved the lamp in front of Asher's eyes. The heat hurt his eyes and he struggled to move away. But soon after, the man let go of Asher.
'I am done.'
Asher knew once his mole exposed him, he would be done for. He would end up in a miserable state just like his father.
'I was foolish. Mother, I am sorry.'
Even after she told him strictly, he still couldn't protect himself. But he couldn't find a way to hide that mole though. It was the trouble from the very beginning.
"Shit! He is not an omega. What a waste! I thought we would finally earn some good money."
The man got up and said disappointedly.
'...not an omega?'
Asher was sure he was an omega. Even his mother confirmed he was an omega. She had checked it. So how come they said he was not one? But it was also good. So before thinking why it turned out like that, he had to find a way to escape from there.
"Hey! Let go of me!"
Asher could only bar back at them. But they simply ignored it and left the cell. They didn't sell omegas, but men and women as sex slaves. So whether he was an omega or not, it didn't matter. With such a face, they were sure Asher could be sold for a decent price.
'Fuck this!'
Asher cursed but didn't know who he was cursing or what.
Because his body was weak he could only sit there like a fool. For the first time in his life, he regretted it. He accepted the fact he was born foolish. Why did he choose such a place to stay?
Sigh...
Since things had come that far, it was useless to blame the past.
So he must do something.
