Before any of this chaos began, whenever Felix and Anne met each other, even by accident, Anne would always come to him and talk to him. But now, things were suddenly awkward as she would run away or slide away in secret.
It was obvious she was avoiding him.
This bothered Felix a lot.
Did he do something wrong?
What was wrong?
To seek advice, he turned to that one person again.
Asher.
So, he summoned Asher and explained how things had escalated. Asher was so proud and happy that things had gone well. But, seeing the duke was still gloomy, he knew the problem wasn't completely solved.
"Maybe the duke should go and talk to Miss Anne again?"
Asher asked the duke as Felix expressed his frustration, asking Asher for help.
However, to Asher's response, the duke immediately shook his head, implying it's a bad idea.
"What if she doesn't want to see me? That must be why she is avoiding me. Can you help me?"
