The maids looked at Nala, then ignoring her as they walked away looking at each other while confirming they really didn't want to talk to Nala.
However, despite them ignoring her, she followed them, trying to talk to them, making the maids get even more annoyed with her. Since they knew she wasn't going to say anything good, they obviously hated to listen to her. And…that also when they are so disappointed about what's happening…they didn't want more. Especially from Nala, the annoying liar.
"Why none of you understand how Asher had ruined the duke's life?"
Nala asked, making them pause and look at her.
"How? How has he ruined his life? We are curious to know."
One maid scoffed and asked her, then staring and waiting till she answered them.
