A figure in a dress immediately ran in between Snowbottle and the beast.
It was Helen. "WAIT!!!" She called out, holding a pyramid-like object in her hand. "This is what you came for, right?"
To the surprise of all watching, the beast stopped. It took a closer look at the object in Helen's hand through its bloody eyes...
Using its whip-like tongue, it snatched the pyramid device from her hand.
"Good! Now you got what you came for. You'll leave right!?" Helen questioned.
The beast paused for a second and then looked back at her, a slight smile staining the corner of its lips.
Helen instantly understood this was not going to help, but her plan was simple.
This was her home and the beast was causing chaos in it. As far as she was concerned, if she handed over the pyramid device she stole, the invaders would leave in peace.
