"Who else? The masters of blood and corruption themselves... The Vampire Lords!" Dr. Pearl answered with a straight face and all the seven in the room looked at her strangely.
*BEEP! BEEP!! BEEP!!!*
A red button on a monitor not so far away from the eight went up in alarm. This drew the attention of all in the room, but most especially, it drew Dr. Pearl's attention.
She rushed to it and checked. "Wait! but that's not possible," she muttered lowly.
"What's not possible?" Mrs. Sunshine asked.
"According to this, there is a vampire in one of the pods. No! not one," Dr. Pearl peeped out of the glass balcony at the numerous pods below. She could see two pods in the distance that were shaking unusually. It looked as if someone was trying to break out, but the strength of the pod kept it locked it.
She took out a tab and brought the schematics of both pods. What she saw only baffled her more, "but that is not possible. It should not be possible."
