Then Amelia heard his voice, an answer she was not expecting.
"I... I like you!" Adria answered with difficulty, avoiding eye contact with her. "What of you? do you like me?" Adria asked sheepishly.
"Mmm!" Amelia nodded, the fingers on one hand-held Adria's hand tightly while the fingers on the second hand continued to draw circles on the slab.
"Really!?" Adria asked, and she nodded.
Meanwhile, Emilia hiding in a corner had heard the entire conversation between the two. She was fuming in anger, however, out of curiosity as to what was going to happen next, she did not leave her hiding spot.
"So, what happens now?" Amelia asked in a low tone.
"I don't know!" Adria replied also in a low tone.
The awkward silence introduced itself once more between the two. And after a few minutes, Amelia suddenly took a deep breath in and out. She had made up her mind, she was going to go for it.
She stood up from the slab, facing him, she whispered stammering, "let's...Ki... Kiss!"
