Squatterbloat frowned as he ordered, "we are going through it! Bring me the colts!"
"Are you sure about that?" Sasha asked.
"Squatterbloat nodded, "we have no choice. Taking another route will cut short our daylight time," he pointed to the sun. Sasha nodded in understanding.
"We are officers! why the hell do we need to be the ones doing all this manual labor!?" Holland grumbled as they broke through the building obstructing their route.
"That's because we are Darklings and have incredibly enhanced physic!" Nora answered as she passed with a big boulder on her shoulder. Holland sighed and continued working to move parts of the building out of the way. As they did, a vampire hiding in the building opened its eyes from its slumber and suddenly jumped out and bite the shoulder of one of the Darklings.
