I have been up since 3am doing what I do best, which is my usual cleaning of the pack rooms but as I was approaching the Alphas room to clean something in me became uneasy causing me to slow my steps . All omegas have chores but I definitely have the most from bathroom cleaning, sweeping the pack house, mopping, dusting everything, doing dishes, attending to the omegas and their needs but this includes also having to personally take care of the Alphas room which is the worst especially since I have to be replacing the beds when he has Cassie over, you'd swear they were vampires from twilight instead of wolves. Approaching his room I was about to knock when the sweetest scent hit my nose which almost smelt like coffee mixed with a little bit of an oud fragrance. I was about to knock when the door swung open and I was face to face with the future alpha Kaine. He looked at me with a face that mirrors pure disgust causing me brace myself for what ws about to happen, he steps out and harshly presses me against the wall adding more pressure to my shoulder. "You have got to pulling a damn prank on me" he says looking at ceiling, I'm assuming he is trying to talk to the moon goddess. "I cannot be with a she-wolf who hasn't even transformed yet, you aren't even of alpha blood better yet you yourself don't even know what the hell you are, your weak and pathetic. You are not fit for the Luna position. I don't know why my father decided to take in a rogue when your absolutely a good for nothing." Kaine says poking me harshly in the same side where Cassie had stepped on me yesterday, he applies more pressure with each word. I don't even have time to collect my thoughts or take in a breath when I feel a hard hand come across the face followed by a punch causing me wince as I feel more pain in the middle of my already broken ribs allowing the pain to travel up my back. I went through the same beating yesterday thanks to the chosen Luna, Cassie. She was the chosen mate and on top of that she was the betas daughter.
Kaine looks at me laying on the ground and the sentence he says does not surprise me. I knew it was coming the minute he stepped out and went off on me but it still did hurt even if it wasn't as bad as I thought it was suppose to be, the pain being oddly manageable compared to what I've heard about from other packs. "I future Alpha Kaine of the Falls Pack reject the pathetic Omega Elle as my mate and therefore choose daughter of the beta, Cassie to be my Luna." As he completes his sentence Cassie walks up to me and kicks so hard to the point where I'm rolling down the stairs hitting every step and every step I hit I can feel myself zip in and out of consciousness.
Just as I hit the last step I see a pair of sleek black formal shoes stepping in front of me but before I can even say anything or lift my head to take a look at the person. In front of me I decide to let the darkness consume me giving some sort of relief.
*Alpha Ace Greyson POV*
When I say I was annoyed I mean it in every single possible way. My Beta Jackson has had me running through every pack for the past month to look at cases of abuse and bullying and so far we only found one. Today we visit the last pack but I have an unsettling feeling and it is driving me up the wall. I haven't eaten since yesterday lunch time and I barely managed to get a wink of sleep last night.
Getting dressed in my grey Armani suit and start making my way to the Range River driven by Lou who is my personal driver and one of the best fighters my pack has and Jackson.
"What happened to you Mr Alpha" he says looking taken back.I just looked at him. "I know, I know but I swear this is the last pack" he says opening my door. "You have said that for the last 5 packs Jackson and I'm getting tired of meeting unnecessary wolves especially she wolves that feel like they have the damn right to claim to be my Luna" I say with an intentional growl.
"I promise you this pack has something dodgey going on" he says as we leave my pack house. It's only going to take us 1 hour to get there since they are already on my damn border. I never really liked that pack especially their Alpha so when Jackson said what he had said it intrigued me. I turned to him arching my eyebrow in which he knew to continue with his suspicion and thought.
"Word has spread that he rejected his mate and chose the betas daughter. But he had been accused of being abusive child since the day he stepped foot on the grounds so I have a feeling that the rejection did not go down with only a few words. People called him a bully and that's exactly what he was. One of the females from that pack sent me an email with photos as proof that he mistreating an Omega calling her an outcast" he says before pausing.
"She looks extremely familiar Ace and I feel a pull but I myself don't understand why" he looks so stressed while I just sat quietly trying to collect the thoughts that were flying around my mind including that fact that I was considering to kill every Alpha that has ever led that pack. Jackson is from the Winter pack where they purely lived in snow and ice the pack was known to the moon goddesses favorite, legends have it that she blessed the pack with her daughter but no one knows what happened to the little girl.... Winter pack was known as the strongest pack after mine but they were ambushed and everyone died except for him, Jackson ... He said that his parents had told him with their final breath that he shoulf find his missing piece and up until now we are both still looking for it even without an understanding of what his missing piece could possibly be.
We pulled up at the pack house where all the pack members were awaiting us, staring us up and down like we were fesh meat. As we walked through the pack, the members split as if they were splitting the red sea and let us through. Unfortunately we were approached by a fungus who claimed to be my mate with her plastic breasts pushed into our faces but I knew better cause from the look on her faces she was watching me hoping for me to make a move. Lou picked her up and put her on the side so we could walk through the door. As we entered there was a huge shift with the atmosphere, the tension so strong I could cut it with a knife but before we could take another step an amazing hot chocolate scent my nose as it has a hint of vanilla that trailed after. Turning my head abruptly towards the stairs the most attractive woman came rolling down hitting every single step, each one ended in a harder landing then the previous one and I couldn't help but let out a furious growl.
As she landed I didn't even get a chance to look into those beautiful pearls she has as eyes due to her losing consciousness. Without a second thought I knew exactly who she was her due to her scent giving her away instantaneously. Turning to look at Jackson his eyes slightly glossy with a glint of fury swimming behind his unshed tears. "Take her to the car and I'll be there soon but be very careful cause if something happens to her and I find even one hair out of place I will personally end your life and that includes your mate. " I order Lou and without a word he nods and obeys my command. I would never hurt him or his family but if something happens to my mate I will let all hell lose on this planet humans call earth but as we call it this useless land.
"Oh you do not have to stress your handsome head over the omega. She is always fainting and falling around the place trying to get all the attention. We'll just get another omega to take her away. Now let's get down to business I'm Cassie the soon to be Luna and this is my mate soon to be Alpha Kaine." she states batting her eyelashes as if she is the most beautiful woman on this planet, I mean my grandmother is prettier. I put my hands into my packet and just glare at the pack members.
" Kneel". My voice echoes through the pack house and in an instant everyone is on their knees including the walking fungus and her false mate.
"Now this is interesting. I walk in here and I find a Omega covered in her own blood rolling down the stairs and then before I can say a word you feel as if you have the right to talk before and above me " I say with venom dripping from each and every word keeping my face stoice of any and all emotions.
I walk past the pack and sit on the alpha chair. "Who was she?" I ask looking at the last Omega. "Her name was Elle your highness, she is the omega that was taken in by Alpha Dylan." she says with ease. "Why was she covered in blood?" I ask staring at every single wolf in this damn good for nothing pack. " The previous Alphas and the soon to be Alpha with his mate have been abusing Elle ever since she stepped foot into the pack. They found out that Elle was Alpha Kaines mate but he rejected her by hitting and continously poking at her ribs and that's what led to that situation" the exact same omega spoke.
"Shut that loose mouth of yours Omega" the walking fungus says with fury but little does she know when I'm done with this pack her head will be hanging from wall like a damn trophy right to her beloved chosen mate. "The alpha did not give you the damn right to open your mouth" Jackson says with hate. "You speak when spoken to and if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all" he says not hesitating to take a step forward in the fu- I mean Cassie's direction. Something isn't right she's MY mate but he is like a dragon whose tale is on fire right now. "Where did your Alpha find Elle?" I ask the Omega loving the way my mates name rolls off my tongue. "She was found drifting on the river, rumor has it that she came from the winter pack" she says not hesitating to answer any of the questions I may ask. I think I know who sent the email to us about Elle. "How long has this been going on?" I continue to ask with an uneasy feeling eating at my chest. "Since the day she arrived my King" the helpful omega whispers and suddenly there's a furious growl leaving my heavy chest. My wolf Storm begging to be let lose. The idea of someone touching our mate is slowly driving him mad. "Every single person that made her do their chores, that abused her, that tried their best to bring her down, that hurt her whether it be mentally or physically I obey you to stand." I bet you imagine my hunger for blood when the entire damn pack stood to their feet with fear radiating from their bodies begging to be forgiven. The only one that didn't stand was the omega that answered every single question I had asked.
" This pack is stripped of each and every title that each pack member has. From today on every pack member is to be presented before the justice court for abuse and I Alpha king Ace Greyson hereby declare that all wolves of the fall pack are now announced as omega's." Before I could say anything g else there's a shrieking sound flying through the air coming from none other than Cassie the fungus." You cannot do that for some random dumb omega that literally owns nothing but the clothes on her back!!!!! She is worth nothing, she pathetic, weak, ugly, fat and has no right to be defended by you. Her parents left her and she has no one, she is a disgrace to this pack" she seethe's. I take slow paced steps to her until I'm standing right in front of her, I gently pull my hands out fo my pockets and gently place them on her face moving towards her neck. Cassie's cheeks turning bright pink. The audacity of the damn woman who just dragged her Queens name through the mud. Her so called mate just stepped back leaving her side. She tried to turn and look at him but without saying a single word I snap her neck, members of the fallen pack do however cower back in fear, the silence becoming the packs best friend as you can her the ants moving on the grass outside. I smirk at the thought of taking each and every pack member off the face of this planet. Only a bit more grusomly.
"Anyone else has something disgraceful to say against my mate who just so happens to be you QUEEN " I ask in a low voice but it vibrates the entire house. "Jackson looks at me with a smirk and I know exactly what he is thinking but I couldn't care less all I eagerly wanted to do was to get back to my car as soon as possible and make sure my mate was fine.
" The pack house is on lock down, no one is allowed out and no one is allowed in. The case with be presented in court on the first of next month" I say walking with Jackson behind me to my range rover. As soon as we step outside I jog on the path to my mate as panic washes through me at the fact that she is still unconscious even after being put into the car. "Step on it Lou" Jackson says jumping in looking back at Elle confused and concerned.
*At Ace's pack house*
We have been sitting in the medical wing for just a little over four hours with the nurses in and outing which quiet frankly is driving me up the damn WALL. Suddenly the theatre light goes off and my packs doctor steps outside bowing as he see's me. "Good Evening Alpha, Luna will take a while to recover but the surgery was successful. She has to be on bed rest for a month and she may be in severe pain but she's a fighter and pulled through even though we nearly lost her on the table due to the amount of blood that she lost" he says in his humble voice. "Luna Elle does however have 4 broken ribs, a displaced patella, a fractured collarbone and a few contusions that didn't heal properly, she will take some time to heal but she will heal none the less you guys may see her, Luna Elle is in the Private room." he says gently. As he steps back he slightly bowing and continues to walk away.
Myself and Jackson walk to the room and quietly enter. There lays sleeping beauty with her black hair in a messy bun and her tanned skin looking pale as if she hasn't been kissed by the sun in years. She is hooked up to all these pipes and I slowly hear her heartbeat match the rhythm of mine. Jackson takes her hand gently as if he may hurt her. He cuts her nails putting it in a tube. I know exactly what he is doing and soon it's just me and my beautiful Elle. My beautiful mate.
"Please angel.... Open your beautiful eyes and connect with me." I beg. Suddenly her eyes open but it almost looked like a mirror nothing but grey clouds swirling around. This has only ever happend once when the last white she wolf (who just happened to be Jackson's mother). She was speaking to the moon goddess nobody actually know about what but I was pulled out of my thoughts when Elle sat straight up and looked at the window, focusing on the black sky. The windows shattered causing a strong wind to blow through them. Elle on the other hand seemed to be drawn to it as she started walking towards the wind not paying attention to the glass on the floor, her necklace glowing a bright purple. I get up abruptly pulling her towards me scared she may injure herself more. I place my lips softly against hers which seems to calm the storm that she was about to brew. The wind stops and her necklaces turns grey, the exact same shade of grey that matches my eyes. She closes her eyes and falls limp in my arms. I pick her up in bridal style and carry her back to the bed she was initially set up in.
Jackson storm through the door with papers in his hand. "I know" I tell him placing the thick layer of blankets that was set up by a few of the nurses that were assisting their Luna. "I know she's your sister" I continue to say while sitting down again. "No I mean yes... I mean yes she's my sister but there's something else you should look at" he says looking at his sister.
"Her blood isn't like ours, she literally has ice running through her veins" he says giving me the papers. "No damn way" I say breathlessly. "Yes freaking way, your mated to the moon Goddesses daughter, my sister" he says with pride filling his chest which I help but smile at.
"Hey princess I need you to wake up so you can eat, smile, talk to me,keep me company and call me yours. Wake up so we can laugh together and go on dates, wake up so I can hold you and tease you. Please princess I know your tired and in pain, I know your broken but I just need you in my life. I promise to give you you the best of me, to make sure you live comfortably and forget all about your past but in order for me to do that I need you to wake up baby girl. " I say softly praying she can hear me.
Jackson sits next to her holding her hand tightly." I'm so so sorry E, please wake up so I can make things right, so that I can protect you and make up for lost time. Wake up so we can bond and I can annoy you. Please princess just open those pearly eyes so I can get a good look at you, burst out into the smile that is worth more than the milky way galaxy. " he says whil gently rubbing her hands.
The last thing I remember is myself and Jackson talking about how we are going to spoil her and treat her like the queen she is. I don't actually remember falling asleep but I am woken up by the most gentle hands running through my thick black hair that must be all over the show by now. I was to busy nuzzling myself closer to the warmth when I heard the world's most amazing giggle. I sit up, instantly locking eyes with most beautiful hazel brown eyes one could ever have. "Mate" Elle whispers making a slight shiver run down my spine. I gently take her hands in my large one and place a gentle kiss on her smooth caramel toned hand. "Hello there gorgeous" I say softly as I run my free hand across her cheek. "Hi" she replies so soft that if I wasn't a werewolf I would have missed it completely.
Our sweet moment is ruined as a semi- fresh looking Jackson enters the room with two hot chocolate cups. As he walks in he freezes, slowly handing me the drinks as he runs to Elle who flinchs. I so badly want to just hit him at the top of his head. "Hey hey hey..... I promise I don't want to hurt you I was just going to hug you. May I?" he questions with hopeful eyes. My queen sits still for a while and then nods. "Jackson" I warn him. " I won't hurt her" he quickly takes her into his arms squeezing her as she silently let's her tears fall. I quickly run up to her. "Hey princess what's wrong? Did he hurt you?" she just shakes her head wiping her tears. "No it was just my first hug since I was a kid. " She says looking at the cups in my hand.
"Would you like one?" I offer pushing Jackson off the bed so I can sit next to her. "What is it?" she asks as she slightly tilts her head to the side eyeing the black and gold cup."Its hot chocolate princess".... I say looking directly into her sun kissed eyes.
"May I? " she requests as if fearing that I would hit her for asking. "You can have whatever your golden heart desires my love" I reassure her while pressing the warm cup against her frozen hands. "Ummm I'm still here you know" Jackson says staring at his sister in awe as she smiles pressing the cup towards her mouth.
*Introduce us Ace* Jackson shouts through mindlink. *Brat* I respond sitting closer to Elle who looks at Jackson amused. "I'm Ace Greyson and that is Jackson my beta". The moment she hears that she gets off the bed bowing deeply and I can't help but feel hurt at her actions. "Greetings your highness and Beta" I immediately stood up and pulled head up so that we were eye to eye. "Princess you never have to bow when your with me, you are my equal." I state stepping closer while holding her closer to my chest. "I'm Jackson" he says with a smile. Elle looks at him and smiles. "I'm your brother" he says with excitement. Elle just stands there in her own thoughts but when she comes to the words that leave her mouth has us looking like she has grown an extra head. "I was told you were dead" she says with a straight face and no emotions grace her beautiful face as those words leave her mouth.
"Who the fudge told you that" he asks as he tries to hide his anger and stay calm for his sister. "Alpha Dylan, he says you died trying to protect me from a person named Snow. He also went onto say that you left me in the ice weather cause you blamed me for your parents death" she says tearing up. "No no no princess, I could never do that to. You are my lifeline the one person I am the most afraid to lose." Jackson says sitting down. A heavy sigh leaves his lips before he goes on, "What happened that day was not something we were preparing for and it was that one incident that ripped our pack including our family to shreds." he says looking blankly at the wall. I was never actually told about what happened during that war but if I know one thing for sure it is that the Winter pack was not what they seemed. They were a pack that held many secrets of their own. I slowly pull Elle into my lap as she blushes furiously.
" I guess I'll start from the beginning. I'm 3402 years old" Jackson says with a straight face. I can't help but look at Jackson like he is worlds biggest clown.
"And we are the first born Hybrids".....
