High Tarxan Nation, On The Ocean Near A Tarxan Port, Near Portville, On The Ocean Near The Country Of High Tarxan.
First Year Of God, First Day, First Five Days, First Month.
Wreckage and separated body parts filled the entire part of the ocean. The large metal ship moved silently through the blood stained ocean. Numerous figures stand atop the deck of the metal ship as it sliced through the waves. It was as if they were on the lookout for something.
To the far side, on a piece of a floating wooden mast, lies a maiden that was floating aimlessly with the wooden mast. Around the maiden were burning wreckages of ironclads along with the mutilated bodies of her fellow Elven people.
Slowly, but surely, the Elven maiden slowly opened her eyes. For the past few minutes, she was unconscious. The last thing she remembered was her failing to stop the destruction of her fleet. As she reminisce about what had happened earlier, tears flowed through her cheeks.
With sadness deep in her heart, she glanced around her surroundings. Which made the flow of tears flow even harder. Floating corpses, mutilated bodies, burning ships and, most of all, the look of horror in the eyes of her fellow Elven people. They all died a senseless death, just because of their pride and ego.
She looks at herself, and found that her regal clothes were tattered and completely submerged in the water. She has failed to establish her influence in her country and brought hundreds of ships with thousands of sailors to their death. It was a complete failure.
As of now, she just wishes to die or hide in a corner because of complete humiliation. Most likely, if this news of defeat gets out into the world. Other nations would likely invade their homeland, as they don't have anymore that they could call a navy.
Then suddenly she remembered that her brother Acheron backed out at the last minute before the battle began. She thought he must be laughing right now, as he will ascend to the throne now. She thought it must be better to die here right now, as at least she doesn't have to come back to that country anymore, where they'd just discriminate and humiliate her every chance that they'd get.
She was currently holding onto the wooden mast of an ironclad. With how heavy her regal clothes were, she was deciding if she'd continue holding for dear life or to just end it all and let go of the wooden mast as hopelessness fills her heart.
As she was being conflicted about what to do, a sudden deafening sound came somewhere near her. She hurriedly looked around to see where it was coming from, and when she finally saw it, she was utterly shocked and baffled. It was the mighty metal ship that single-handedly destroyed her fleet. Fear was all over her as she doesn't know on what to do.
In a state of panic, she almost let go of the wooden mast, just as when she saw that there were fellow Elven people near the ship. Her instincts kicked in. This must be her redemption. If she could hit a strike on that metal ship, then they'd think twice before killing off the remaining survivors.
Just as she was about to chant her magic incantations, she saw something unbelievable with tears in her eyes. The humans on the metal ship threw what seemed like some kind of device onto the elves. What came next shocked her, as she found the device that was thrown was floating. Not only that, another shocking thing happened next. The humans attached what seemed like a rope that looks like a ladder to the side of their ship.
Upon seeing this, the Elven survivors hurriedly climbed up onto the metal ship. On a closer look at the metal ship, she saw that there were multiple devices that give off the light that they saw earlier. This device was manoeuvring around the ship as it lights up the surroundings of the ship. There they were able to find the other remaining survivors of the Elven people.
She, on the other hand, saw everything that transpired. What's currently happening is a miracle of unseen proportions in the history of their existence. Nations would leave the enemy sailors to die when their ship sinks in a battle. This was a complete common practice in this world. However, she saw Humans, that were considered as slaves because of their entire race having no mana, helping other races that abused and enslaved them over the past millenniums.
Those so-called slaves just decimated an entire fleet of ironclads. They decimated the ironclads that were considered as the latest and newest invention in naval warfare in a single moment.
As the queen of her nation, she must be able to protect her brethren. So she was about to call out the humans on the top of the deck, when suddenly something poked her at her back. She panicked, thinking it was a sea monster that was about to consume her. To which she looked back and found that it wasn't the case, instead it was a human. They looked at her with great interest and a man dressed in complete white from top to bottom with the colour of the skin that was neither considered white nor black just in the middle.
The man dressed in white reached his hands towards her and spoke in a language they never have heard nor understood.
"It's all going to be alright." Said the man dressed in white while reaching for his hands towards her.
This occurrence spooked her, and apparently it could be seen on the outside, to which she found there were other humans at the back of the man also dressed in white. They laughed at the man on the front.
"It's alright, I mean no harm, young lady." Said by the man.
She couldn't understand anything, however, she felt that the human in front of her was a good person. So she reached for his hand and grabbed it.
The man then helped the girl board the small boat. Upon having boarded the boat, she saw that there were also other Elven sailors in the boat. They all have varied expressions, however one thing remains absolute. They fear what's going to happen next.
