A beautiful woman's face appeared from the water. She crawled to the ground slowly as Thomas and Simon watched her in awe. She had a beautiful mermaid tail glowing under the moonlight.
"Hey, children! Are you lost? Do you need any help?"
The mermaid looked their way and asked in a friendly manner. Thomas and Simon were a little startled realising they were already exposed. But hearing she would help them, they came out slowly.
"Can you help us?"
Simon took the lead and asked her nervously.
"I can't hear you. Come closer."
Because they were eager to seek some help, they didn't think more and just walked to her laying on the ground.
But suddenly Thomas felt something was wrong.
"Wait, Simon...Are you sure she is a good person? I have never heard about any good mermaids in rivers. I thought they only live in the sea. Don't you think it's dangerous? And I feel weird."
