"How were your classes?"
Nick was the first one to break the silence.
"Nothing special."
Sheli made a reply with a dull look.
Looked like none of them had a good time with their classmates. All of them came to pass the same thing.
But surprisingly, none of the teachers had avoided them. It made them feel a little secure.
"They said it to my face! They said they don't want me in their class. But what can I do?"
Lily was the one who had the hardest time. Her classmates had insulted her right in her face.
But others didn't come upon anything like that. They were just disregarded. That's it.
"Lily, don't mind them. When we gain our forms, let's show them what we can do. Let's make them regret."
Kevin coaxed Lily, while comforting himself and others. All of them weren't happy. But none of them wanted to take a step back either.
"We have the special class today. Don't forget, okay? Let's meet in the class."
They separated their ways after reminding the next event.
About the special class, they had no idea about what they would learn there. If that class could assist them to awaken their forms, then they were willing to attend it every day.
After arriving at the dorms, they proceeded into their rooms to take a rest, because they didn't know what would happen in the night class.
After taking a shower, Thomas tried to connect with Simon. But he couldn't.
So he gave up and decided to take a nap. But right when he closed his eyes, he heard Simon calling.
Hearing his voice, Simon jumped up.
As Thomas kept raising questions about his academy, Simon was not happy.
Simon showed his displeasure about Thomas's concern about other things but not about him.
Thomas chuckled and asked in a teasing manner.
Hearing Thomas repeating the same question he told Thomas, Simon was a little annoyed.
Simon's tone was very comforting, but his question annoyed Thomas.
Thomas went silent hearing Simon made him feel special to him. His face got hot and he felt annoyed.
Simon said and their connection was cut off. Thomas laid on his bed, but he couldn't sleep.
"What will he look like now?"
Thomas had a sudden wish to see Thomas.
The child named Simon was the only image he could think of, not the grown-up Simon. It was not suitable to use a child's image to feel shy. So he shook his head and decided to wait until he could see Simon one day.
Sometimes they end their conversation with a 'I love you'. But they hadn't seen each other for more than 10 years. So no one would believe in their love. Actually, both of them had feelings for each other. But they didn't know why. Maybe it was because they trusted each other since their childhood even though they didn't see each other.
To describe their relationship, they were not lovers. But also long-distance lovers. When they meet in the future, of course they would recognize the other party as his lover. They were in a confusing but also a loyal relationship.
.....
That day around 5 pm, Nick knocked on Thomas's door to wake him up. Because Thomas had overslept. After a mind-blowing conversation with Simon, he was very happy and he slept to his heart's content. Thanks to Nick's concern, he woke up before it's too late.
Since the class had to start at 6 pm, they had to get ready at least 5 pm. Because wearing the uniform and picking up the other colleagues took much more time than they expected.
The three boys went to pick up the girls and all of them then went together. Because they decided to do everything together even if they gain their forms later. Because all of them went through the same problem and had a better understanding of each other. So they teamed up to work together.
The location of their special class was the disappearing main hall. When they arrived at the tree, Anderson was already waiting for them.
"You guys are right on time! It's good. I don't like when my students are late."
As he said, the hall appeared there, fascinating the students again for the second time.
"Come in!"
Anderson rushed them, because they were too slow while paying attention to the main hall which appeared out of nowhere.
The main hall was too big. For these five students, it was too much.
'Why did they choose such a big place?'
As everyone clumsily thought, Anderson straightly came to the point. He seemed more excited than the students.
"Well... You know this class is just for awakening your beast form. In the last few years, all of my students succeeded in awakening their forms on their first day. I don't know about you. Even if you take time, it doesn't matter. Because it's your body that decides whether your form should be awakened or not. So if you can't awaken your forms today, don't worry… That's what I wanted to tell first."
Anderson rubbed his hands and sat on the ground in front of the others. They were already sitting on the ground, listening to Anderson.
"Now, listen well. Before we start, let me warn you! I have seen many students like you in my past years. None of them seemed to be satisfied with what they are. Some students gave up studying. Some students even killed themselves because they couldn't hear the things the world talked about. I pity them. I have repeated this same phrase all over these years. I hope, at least you can give me some hope.
Being a late bloomer is not your fault at all. First, keep that in your mind. No one is born the way they want. They just have to adjust according to how they are.
The reason why your body didn't make any changes is that your body can't take it. That's why they call you weak. Even if you awaken your form, you will still be weak. Why is that? It's because others' bodies used to have another form within them for more years than your body used to.
But practising can change it. If you can make your body stronger, you will be even more powerful than those early awakeners."
Anderson noticed the light in the eyes of the five.
'They are also ambitious. But I have seen those lights countless times.'
Anderson continued again, while his hopes were still up.
"And I have something more to tell."
He tidied up himself and bent toward them slowly, as if he was going to tell a secret.
