Thomas stayed frozen because of the shock. Wasn't Simon just hugging him? What did he say?
He said he missed him too.
Thomas was taken back for a little.
But he thought he might have never had such feelings for him.

Maybe there were still things Thomas had to know. One day he might hear everything clearly from Simon. So he would have to wait until that day, Simon would share his story with him. He was willing to wait.
