After that, Anderson said Thomas wouldn't have to practise his wings anymore. So the training session for his wings ended there. And after that, it was almost like he forgot he had wings. The excitement for his wings was suppressed when he finally started to work on his powers. He had to work hard to be competitive.
That day, Thomas recalled the things that happened and suddenly thought of Simon for no reason. If they were to communicate, he would have bragged... maybe not. They are prohibited from telling things that happen inside of the academy, including their own personal things. Thomas always thought it was a strange rule. And felt it was unfair. But things were always very complicated and only the people in high positions knew them better.
While he was dozing off, he saw faint lighting in front of his eyes. A green light dimmed like a firefly. Thomas casually moved his fingers and tried to touch it curiously, but stopped his movements in shock.
Because he heard a voice.
