Lisa slapped Wayne angrily when she saw him laughing.
"Hurry up! What kind of job did you find?"
Wayne saw that Lisa seemed really angry, so he stopped joking with her.
Instead, he told Lisa about the job that he had gotten from the Katie family.
Lisa frowned slightly and said, "You mean you can work at the Katie Group? And they even offered you the marketing manager position?"
Wayne nodded, indicating that Lisa had not heard wrong.
Lisa's brows furrowed even deeper when she saw this. "That can't be right. I remember that the Katie Group is very strict regarding recruitment! Their company isn't big, but it's one of the biggest companies in White City! How could they let you enter the company directly and make you the marketing manager?"
When Wayne saw Lisa's expression, he knew that he could not just make up a random reason and get away with it.
