Chapter 99 - Arguing

"Lisa, don't you think there's something strange about what happened today?" 

Wayne's words were tactful. This was because whenever Wayne mentioned the violet gemstone in the past, Lisa had a big reaction and would angrily interrupt him every time. 

Therefore, Wayne could only use a more tactful way to persuade Lisa. 

Lisa heard Wayne's question and put down the glass. She closed her eyes and pinched her brows. 

After a while, she shook her head tiredly and said, "I don't know. It doesn't seem strange. The neighbor is called James Collins. I know him too. He's been living here for a few years." 

Wayne understood what was going on when he heard that. Lisa had also just wondered whether James had attempted to murder her. 

But after thinking about it carefully, Lisa came to the same conclusion as him.
