Chapter 5 - Divorce

"Come with me after you've delivered the things. I have something to tell you." Lisa returned to the car after she finished speaking.

After Wayne put the things in, he bade his mother goodbye and got into the car.

After fastening her seat belt, Lisa started the car.

The two of them came to the entrance of a shopping mall. Lisa walked in front, and Wayne followed behind her.

Looking from behind, Lisa's hips were swaying as she walked. It was especially seductive. Wayne's mouth was dry from watching it. When someone suddenly bumped into him from behind, he immediately threw himself onto Lisa and hugged her subconsciously. His hands were pressed to her chest.

At the same time, some information about Lisa appeared in Wayne's mind.

[Status: Plagued by bad luck and life-threatening danger in the near future...]

[Cause: Cursed by someone...]

Wayne subconsciously tried to remove the curse from Lisa's body, but Lisa suddenly pushed him away angrily and scolded, "You pervert, what are you doing?"

Lisa had never thought that Wayne would touch her chest in public!

"Don't worry about whether I'm a pervert or not. Let me ask you, where did you get that violet gemstone on your chest?"

"None of your business!"

"It's not that I want to care about you, it's that you've been cursed!"

"You pervert, are you trying to find an excuse for what you've done? You can even come up with a strange excuse like a curse. Do you think I'll believe you?"

As Lisa said this, she was also a little confused.

There was indeed a violet gemstone on her chest, but it was covered by her clothes. How did Wayne know about it?

Could it be that he had been peeking at her chest?

Lisa was sure that was the case, and she was even more disappointed in Wayne.

"Lisa, you're really cursed. Who gave you the violet gemstone?" he asked. Wayne said anxiously.

"Are you saying that my mother is going to curse me?" Lisa asked in an unreasonable manner.

Upon hearing that it was a gift from his mother-in-law, Wayne quickly explained, "I'm not suspecting her. What if she was also deceived?"

Lisa sighed, "Alright, Wayne, let's get a divorce. I don't want to put up with you anymore. You're such a good-for-nothing, and you're still trying so hard to find excuses for yourself. After we got married, did you think that my family looked down on you because you were poor? It's because you don't want to improve yourself and didn't even have a plan for your future! Do you know how much ridicule and pressure I've suffered in order to maintain this marriage? do you know how many good words I've put in for you in front of my family to change their opinion of you? You definitely don't know! Because you've never thought about this. I'm really tired and I can't see any hope. Let's get a divorce!"

Lisa sighed and calmed herself down. "Forget it. I'll give you another 100,000 after the divorce. From now on, we won't ever appear in each other's sights again. Wayne, take care."

Wayne never thought that Lisa had suffered so much, nor did he expect her to accumulate so many emotions.

But he couldn't do anything now. Even if he promised to prove himself to others in the future, Lisa would probably not believe him.

"Are we really going to get a divorce like this?" Wayne muttered to himself, feeling a little reluctant.

"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Lisa shouted even more angrily when she saw that Wayne did not speak.

The next moment, Lisa saw Wayne kick a trash can upwards with a loud bang.

Lisa looked up and saw a huge billboard falling down.

Before she could react, Wayne pulled her to the side. Then, she heard a loud bang. The billboard fell to the ground and hit many pedestrians. They screamed.

"Oh my God, Wayne, what did you just do? Are you a demon sent by Satan?"

Although Lisa was not hurt, she immediately pushed Wayne away and started scolding him when she saw the tragic scene, "Get lost! Get lost, you demon."

In her opinion, it was because Wayne was unhappy with her wanting a divorce. In order to vent his emotions, he kicked the trash can and smashed the billboard, causing so many people to be injured!

After Lisa finished scolding him, she immediately went to save the injured people under the billboard.

"Argh! Save me..."

"Please save my child..."

"Call the ambulance!"

The scene was in complete chaos. Wayne could not care less about Lisa's explanation. Just as he was about to go over and help, he saw a blonde middle-aged woman holding a little boy covered in blood and crying for help.

"Call the ambulance, I beg you, help me call the ambulance… Bob, can you hear me? Bob, hang in there… Someone, please save my child. He's only six years old. I don't want him to die..."

The middle-aged woman shouted as she kowtowed to the passersby like a madman.

Wayne was about to check on Bob's injuries when he saw a little boy who looked exactly like Bob's body. He was a little transparent, but he floated away.

Wayne immediately realized that the other boy was Bob's soul.

Even though he was surprised that he could see this, he knew that Bob would really be dead if his soul left, so he immediately chased after Bob's soul.

"Wayne, come over and help..."

Lisa had been calling Wayne to help the injured, but she didn't expect him to run away.

This made Lisa's heart completely die.

This accident was caused by Wayne, but Wayne was not thinking about how to remedy it. Instead, he fled at the last minute. He was simply not worthy of being a human!

She swore that she would divorce Wayne no matter what. She would never have anything to do with such a weak and incompetent man again!
