Chapter 2 - Chapter two: Justin Daniel

Eve stood in front of the her first class room. English. With a final look, she walked inside.

"Class we have a new student." The teacher turned to look at his new student who walked in. "You must be Eve. Class this is Eve Mccallister, make her feel welcomed."

Eve gave a tight smile, and took seat behind a blond girl. Who turned towards her, just as she sat down.

"I am Amara Peirce." She introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you Amara, I am, well you already know. Eve." Eve shrugged. Amara gave Eve, an adoring smile and turned back towards the teacher.

"Once again, welcome back to school. Students, as you see there is a book on your table. 13 Reasons Why by, Jay Asher. This is you this week assignment. You guy will read this book, and you all will write a paper on it. And there is also the selves for the rest of the semester" Their teacher, Mrs. Smith said.

Eve looked at the book, and flipped through the pages, knowing very well where and how the book is gonna end.

"So, from where are you?" Amara asked, as she and Eve made there way to their lockers.

"Well, I don't know my birth town. I grew up in Chicago, after my mom got married, we moved to Forks, Washington DC. And here I am now." Eve did a little dramatically bow, which made Amara laugh.

"You're kinda dramatic." Amara shook her head, as they stopped in front of Eve's locker, surrounded by two other boys.

"Hey Amara." Both of them greeted.

"Eve this is my brother Cayden, and this is Lucas William, he-"

"Has a brother names James Bryant William." They gave her a weird look. "I met him in parking lot!"

"Oh, well, he is my adopted brother." Lucas shrugged. "But nice to meet you, Eve."

"Nice to meet you too Lucas and....." she noticed Cayden glaring at her. "Cayden."

Amara lightly hit Cayden's arm. "Lose up Cayden. It wasn't her fault. " She whispered the last part to him, but nonetheless she heard it.

"What's up guys?" A girl, in a cute pink dress and low ponytail, jumping happily followed by a blue shirt boy approached.

Amara, Lucas and Cayden shared a look, like almost saying  'here we go again' .

"She had a lot of Adderall." The blue shirted boy, whispered to them, as the pink dressed girl kept jumping.

"Oh my god! I haven't saw you before! My name is Avalon Charlotte! I go by Ava, my dad is Sheriff! What's your name?"

Eve let out a very nervous laugh, "Eve Mccallister."

Ava's eyes widened, "Oh my god you a-" Marcus quickly put a hand over her mouth muffling her words.

"Come on Ava, you have therapist appointment. Nice to meet you, Eve, I'm Marcus." The boy introduced as he very difficultly dragged Ava away.

"E- Is she always like that?" Eve asked as they broke out laughing.

"In 365 days, 364 and ½." Amara shrugged, with a unamused smile.

"Anyway, we gotta go." She motioned towards her and Lucas. "Cayden will show you around, bye!"

"But-" Before Cayden could finish his sentence they were already leaving.

"Guessing the fact, you hate me from the first second you saw me. You like it or not, we are stuck with each other." Eve said as Cayden glared at her.

"For God's sake, let's just get over with this!" Cayden huffed as he walked away, Eve following closely behind.

"And this is the playground." Cayden said standing in front of the huge ground.

"Cayden...." Eve trailed off.

"Yeah?"

"I can see that this is a playground." Cayden huffed and with a quick pace walked away.

"Why is he so rude to me?" Eve said to himself, as she followed him, but bumped into someone.

"Woah- watch where- Eve!" Jensen exclaimed.

"Jensen, hey! I haven't seen you all morning!" Eve said as he gave him a quick hug.

"Oh yeah, I had classes all day."

"Oh-uh, i will see ya later?" Eve said, looking at Cayden who stood behind bleachers talking on phone.

"Okay, bye."

"Bye!" Eve said as she went to Cayden.

"Yeah. Okay, uh-huh...okay, I'll talk to you later Justin. Bye." He said as he ended the call, seeing Eve approaching him.

"Who was that?" Eve asked as she stood beside, him.

"Just my friend, Justin. Which class do you have?" Cayden asked as Eve toon out her routine.

"Uh...SPN History, block 8-J." Eve said.

"Oh, that class, you have it with Marcus and Justin," Cayden looked at his watch. "Well then get going, you don't want to disappoint Mr. Lassiter."

It seemed like an extremely long walk, from paly ground to block 8-J. It was at the back of the school, in another building. As they climbed the stairs, and passed by the corridors, it was totally empty. As they went to the History room, the air got chiller.

Eve took a deep breath and pushed he door open. The room wasn't anything like she expected. It was more like a seminar room, filled with a few kids.

"Cayden", their teacher approached them. Mr. Lassitar was in his early twenties, brown fluffy hair and brown eyes, with a British accent.

Cayden and Mr. Lassitar hugged each other  and Cayden whispered something in his ear, which made his eyes widened and look at Eve. Before clearing his throat awkwardly.

"Ms. Mccallister, please sit beside Mr. Daniel." Eve's eyes traveled to the blond boy, who raised his hand still looking at his book.

Cayden left the class room, as Eve went to the sit, told by Mr. Lassitar.

"I am Justin, Daniel." The blond boy smiled at her, he had brown eyes and a nice voice

"Mice to meet you Justin, I am Eve Mccallister." Eve smiled back, and she swear she heard a small, "I know" from Justin.

But the smile was, quick to fall from her lips. Once she realized the boy was the same boy from her dream.

Mr. Lassiter cleared his throat as the class, went quiet and everyone focused on him. "Welcom back to class. My name is Aiden Lassitar, your SPN History teacher. Please open page number, 25." He ordered.

Eve frowned as she opened the page. The heading read, "Vampires and Werewolves".

"Why do Vampires and Werewolves hate each other?" Mr. Lassitar asked the class, as few of them raised hands. "Ms. Mccallister.:

Eve looked at him extremely confused. Not knowing what to say, but eventually she came up with something. "As much as I know.....Vampires, Childern of Night and Werewolves, Children Of Moon hate each other because, the vamps forced them into slavery, which triggered a war that lasted centuries. Eventually neither side remembers what started it all, but they are so far into it that the hatred is fused into their minds."

Mr. Lassiter smiled, satisfied with the answer, as he continued teaching, until the door opened and a boy, wearing all black walked in.

"Mr. Ray, you are 10 minutes late." Mr. Lassitar informed.

"I know." The boys said, as they both broke into a smile.

"Go take your seat." The boy nodded and toom seat in the back of the class, Eve, confusedly looked at the boy, who looked back at her. But it wasn't  a normal stare. It was a hate stare.
