I don't know how many cameras were installed throughout the underground parking lot, let alone how many hackers managed to break in to observe today's events in front of their computers.
Downey knew he was now like an animal in a zoo or a magician on stage and wanted to show everyone his fangs and tricks to the audience. But he doesn't mind, as everyone needs such a scene to prove themselves.
Any high-level mutant wants to have some free space for his own activities, only he must find a way to make it happen. That kind of freedom is based on countless bloody battles, so anyone who wants to move to him can first weigh the price that has to be paid to anger him.
Many powerful mutants jump in and out of various types of occasions at will, unscrupulous and reckless. The personal information of these mutants has been archived in various departments for a long time, but no one dares to move it easily.
Wolverine, who knows where he is, must be driving a broken down car somewhere. Who dares to bother you? The loss is not worth the profit, the price is unreal and the key is that the other party cannot be killed, no matter how much you kill Wolverine, he will become more and more devastating.
As for the other third-tier mutants? Or you stay incognito, never show your skill in public, and live a quiet life; or you join a great power or organization and get some kind of shelter; if not in the end, you either die on the growth path or become a lab rat. These categories are the most common.
Wanting to win a high level mutant, the price is very painful. Therefore, the value of a newly awakened fourth-level mutant is far from comparable to that of a group of third-level mutants. This is the essence of life. The greed of certain organizations is beyond imagination, enough to drive them mad and prefer to send troops or assassins to capture almost immediately, as soon as an opportunity arises.
It's better if you're able to ask with words, argue for them to work for them. It is also acceptable to kill on the spot and drag your corpse back to the lab.
The Motorcycle Transformer took the bazooka to the panic of his enemies. People were screaming and firing bullets one after the other. Only with weapons in hand did they have any sense of security.
[A/N: I'm thinking of naming your Transformers, if anyone has any suggestions I'll take a look, I'll be naming them in Monday's chapter.]
Intense gunfire resounded through the parking lot, and large numbers of gunmen joined the siege to suppress Downey.
"Hahaha, I said the superiors are very cautious. Even if 4th level mutants are so strong so what? Can a newly awakened be compared? Even when Magneto only awakened his ability, he was just fragile shit and could easily be taken down."
Some people have bragged that they were only born at the wrong time. Had they been born around the time of WWII, a first rate person like Professor X and Magneto would have died with no place of burial, not to mention the mutant of today.
Motorcycle Transformer positioned itself as a metal shield to firmly protect Downey, the hail of bullets was blocked and the clanging sound was endless.
Seeing this, the bragging people became more and more confident and felt that they would win the battle. Downey once had a chance to win.
Suddenly, there was a gap in the shield, from there a small machine gun (Gatling) protruded from it. The muzzle turned and accelerated slowly, like a death sonata, trying to unearth the scythe and be able to take the life of whoever dared to stand in front of it.
[A/N: Gatling image for anyone interested]
People are fearful and unconsciously want to avoid it, but not everyone can avoid it. For example, the main person who likes to brag is machine-gunned like a sieve for the first time (last time) and his body gets covered with many bullet holes. There is no doubt that he died.
The machine gun quickly turned its sights and continued firing, inflicting a large number of casualties. People screamed and fell to the ground miserably.
People reacted quickly. They had long since found cover to hide. They were reluctant to come out with their heads to peek and shivered in their hiding places. They were already shocked by the opponent's strange skill and didn't dare to challenge again. But many were still fierce, wielding their weapons to counterattack and trying to find some breach and kill the opponent.
In common firefights, many people fall for the counterattack.
But Downey is different. He was very well protected, no gaps, just attacking with a small machine gun tearing blood on his way through the parking lot.
The counterattack fell quickly, with an expression of regret and despair on his face, eyes wide and turning into corpses. Downey didn't look at his enemies, that style of play was too shameless, he still used his weapons well, but the enemy and he weren't in the same boat.
"Use heavy weapons! Where is the rocket launcher? Blow up this tortoiseshell! I can't believe Abomination managed to punch those machines down. Can the rocket launcher break this thing?"
This person knows a lot about Downey's first battle. He has collected detailed information and knows some of Downey's data. He is much better than the fools who come to hunt him down and kill him without information. He doesn't think he has a chance of winning and knows Downey is tough. Escaping for his life is the best choice.
*Bang!*
There was a loud noise, the rocket launcher slammed past him, causing a violent explosion. The powerful impact made the entire 'metal shield' squirm, as if it had been terribly beaten and looked a little tattered.
"Unexpectedly, didn't it pierce? Did you end up just making a dent?!"
Everyone was taken by surprise, the scene being very unbelievable, this is the latest model rocket launcher with incredible power, but the end result is that the opposite side is almost unharmed, which makes the situation unacceptable.
Why is your defense so good? When fighting Abomination, was the opponent's transformed truck really that fragile?
Downey slapped the 'metal shield', Tinder's energy was transmitted and the Transformer recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye, but when it was over it looked a bit ragged.
They don't know anything about their enemy at this point, it's suffocating for them.
Once again, a breach was opened and a bazooka came out of it. This was what Downey had taken not long ago. It was saved to be used at a more propitious time. Now the time has come.
*Bang!*
There was another loud noise, the shell exploded and a large number of people were killed by shrapnel. Those who survived, knelt on the ground and were crying their regrets. Most of the vehicles on this floor of the parking lot were affected by the battle, the ones closest to the explosion site had their fuel tanks ruptured and gasoline dripped onto the floor.
Downey shot the gasoline, it burned instantly and several people were surrounded by the sea of flames, some cars exploded, people were screaming and the flames along with the explosions killed people with endless pain.
"Monster, we are ordinary people, we are not your opponents! Let those without the motivation to keep going, I will give up! Please! I don't want to die today!"
People are really scared. Some weaker-minded soldiers are already fleeing in panic. Some leaders roared and shot at these people, but could not stop them.
From the beginning of the fighting until now, all the people who shouted "we surrender" took the lead to flee and were killed. They died worthless. People have long suppressed their fears and struggled with the incomprehensible enemy, which increasingly affects the morale and fighting spirit of their enemies.
Downey stood up, knowing this was a great opportunity for him and he couldn't wait any longer! He had to hurry and get out of here!
"Who would dare to stop me?!"
Downey roared, saw the Transformer shrink into a motorcycle's form, Downey climbed onto the bike firmly and unscrewed the throttle, pulling hard on the handlebars accelerating at full speed all the way forward.
"You will not run!" A loyal man stood up and shouted, "Let's form a formation and shoot him so we can catch him, we have a chance to win!"
*Bang!*
Downey shot the man to death.
"Who dares to stop me?!" Downey roared again.
There was a skinny guy he didn't see as he ran for his life, only to end up blocking Downey's path unintentionally.
Downey was about to shoot him, only the scrawny one was lucky and smart enough, yelled, "I have no intention of competing with you! I cannot afford to offend you!"
Downey lowers the weapon and charges at full speed, leaps over the man and runs for the exit.
