When Dae-Seong saw this he was a bit confused as to what has happened and he decided to check Bren's status and skills since he forgot he hadn't gotten a proper look at them yet.
Like before he definitely saw his stats grew exponentially and it was also thanks to Bren training inside his own dungeon before it's evolution for a while, he was able evolve easier.
Which was better than the other guardians who was just guarding their dungeons doing nothing but as Dae-Seong looked at Bren's stats he saw that he had a couple of new skills and abilities.
From what he saw before when he checked, he actually got a really strong ability which was called "Revival of the Dead" which allows the target to retain their consciousness before their death.
While also repairing their body to it's alive form except the only difference is that it had an unwavering loyalty to Bren now so it was like a living undead which was stronger than normal.
Dae-Seong was really surprised at this and so he didn't know what to say but then suddenly Dalfine pushed Dae-Seong out the way and said, "Okay, now that he is alive again we need to break his curse!.".
After hearing that both of the were immediately confused and so she sighed as she said, "Ok let me explain it to you guys, as you guys saw he was cursed to becoming a grasshopper, right?".
She said as she started to create her own figures in the air with her aura, she moved them as she explained everything and she told them both that the God needed a medium to curse the samurai.
So all they had to do was to look for it since it shouldn't have gone far mostly because Dalfine found out the Evil God wasn't a mid ranking or even a high ranking God that could do that.
It mostly meant that the medium for the curse needed to be nearby for it's effects to fully come out but if he wasn't near the medium then the effects would be half as powerful as they were now.
Then once Dalfine finished explaining that both of them were actually able to understand it pretty well and so Dalfine told them both, "Okay, now that you two understand we need to look for the medium.".
They all then started looking around the place but even with Dae-Seong's appraisal ability, he wasn't able to find anything so he wasn't completely sure of it was there but they still searched anyway.
Even after a while of searching they weren't able to find anything and so it was getting pretty frustrating for them and so Dae-Seong asked, "Dalfine, are you sure it's in this room right now?".
As he said that she then said, "If the effects cover the whole room, then yeah, it has to be inside of here or else there would be a part of the room that would let the samurai go back to normal.".
When she said that it just left them even more confused since they definitely checked the place thoroughly and they've checked everywhere that was possible in that one room and so they were a bit irritated.
Although they were frustrated and tired, Bren who didn't even look tired or didn't even have any emotion on his face then asked, "Can the samurai's armour be the medium for the curse?".
Bren said as he pointed at the armour that was on the mantis and when both Dalfine and Dae-Seong looked closer, it was actually the medium they were looking for which made them even more angry.
Since they've been searching non stop for nearly a couple of hours and the medium was literally just walking beside them as they were walking around the place as the looked around.
Now that they found the medium, Dalfine then took a hold of the armour and then her eyes started to glow a pink color as she started to look at the armour intensely as she was appraising it.
While she was looking at the armour, Dae-Seong decided to appraise the grasshopper as well since he wanted to know how strong it was compared to him and so he activated his appraisal.
Although the first few seconds of looking at its description and skills, there wasn't anything amazing there, he then read a part saying that most of his power was sealed away due to it's grasshopper form.
After reading that Dae-Seong was a bit surprised, the part saying most of it's powers was sealed meant that it wasn't even half of it's strength and it was nearly defeating Dae-Seong with ease.
Dae-Seong needed his new life & death ability to defeat it but even with his ability, if the samurai had it's full power, he probably would've needed to sacrifice a whole lot more than he just did.
The amount of energy he already consumed killing the sealed samurai took up nearly 3/4 of his energies combined so it would've knocked him unconscious or even worse, it would've killed him.
If he even tried using his ability against the samurai, so Dae-Seong was a bit afraid of it and it seemed like the samurai at it's full power was even stronger than Bren and Dalfine.
But he still wasn't completely sure either if that was truly the case although the answers will be revealed was they undo the curse that was put onto him and luckily Bren already had him as a subordinate.
So the samurai should still listen to Bren without any problems and after a while of Dalfine looking at it's armour, she then said to Dae-Seong, "Come here quickly." once she said that Dae-Seong went closer.
Suddenly she grabbed onto his arm and them started to suction out his energy and started to imbue her energy into the armour while saying, "Regenerate your energy with your powers! Quickly!".
When she said that Dae-Seong started to panic and tried using every recovery ability, he had and he didn't even have time to try and upgrade his current skills and abilities because he had to focus.
Due to the fact that he was giving his energy to Dalfine even though he had just a bit over 1/4 of his current energy from him using his life & death ability just once and of he didn't he would've passed out.
Which would've been dangerous because he might kill himself and kill Dalfine in the process since she was also borrowing energy from Dae-Seong so that she can break the curse.
Except suddenly Dae-Seong felt a hand behind him and he saw Bren with a white energy surrounding him as Dae-Seong's energy started to recover rapidly at a speed that even Dae-Seong was surprised of.
