Chapter 71
The ride to the hospital is blurred by Jamie's thumping heart. He cannot believe it at first but the longer he is holding Jiseok's palm the more it gets real, the throbbing pain keeps him awake and helps him to convince himself that it will be fine and that Jiseok is a strong guy. He will survive.
Jamie's phone has been ringing since earlier but he's not in the mood to answer them yet. The paramedic didn't pay him mind and only focused on monitoring Jiseok's vital. He exhales in frustration and tries to clear his mind so he will be able to help Jiseok too. Anything is fine.
When they reach the emergency room, a doctor is waiting and soon taken over to check Jiseok. He asked for the vitals and mumbled words of fracture of the skull and facial bone. Lung rupture, liver rupture, and even stomach rupture.
"Take an x-ray faster!" Jamie heard the medical staff.
